  1. Yes, being aware that you are on your own with your research about using that tool, the knowledge of vcds apply there but some clones may have bugs, errors, or may broke your car, I did my research before buying it
  2. I'm pretty late into the conversation but some guys on YouTube used a full DSP to flatten the sound and then feeding the signal into another amplifier also change it afterwards how they like, but it's pretty expensive ,about 600 euros the DSP
  3. I use a vcds from AliExpress, and it works great
  4. Then the only remaining lead is to tear down both screen and see if the screen of the bigger one has the same connector as of the smaller one
  5. nevermind the module worked, did not fully placed the wires first time , and works perfect 🍻
  6. It's the same module as mine, maybe it wasn't fully plugged? So the car faced a lot of error after I've installed it, and I tried to start the motor , started for 2 seconds then died, after that it would not even crank , of course after I reverted it back the car went fine, had a engine light but I just had to delete the error codes, a lot of no communication codes
  7. The car won't start with the module🤣🤣
  8. Purchased a few goodies for the car Engine start stop cover Auto start stop off Black emblem Will get back how the auto start stop off work 🥳
  9. From all the research I have done it's not posibile yet on Mk4 , on Mk3 that was possible with a custom modification to the central infotainment
  10. I just ordered from AliExpress a white led band
  11. Had a look into the firmware of the pre-facelift, if somehow we could hack the checksum we can custom change the firmware and adapt new things
  12. Hello here is my map of the menu 5F, i see that there are a lot of menu options that can be activated, and from my research is basically the menu in the infotainment, has anyone tried them or something? Ex. adpmap-5F-5E3-035-816-F_TMBJJ9NX2MY009396-20251006-1824.CSV
  13. Manuals for Skoda Octavia 4 : Avalabile for 3 days https://we.tl/t-TID7E3Cpca?utm_campaign=TRN_TDL_05&utm_source=sendgrid&utm_medium=email&trk=TRN_TDL_05
  14. But overall very very happy with the outcome for me the total cost was Wires : 15 Euros Subwoofer and amplifier second hand : 50 Euros It totally changed the sound of the system and I'm happy with it , could go for a custom fit subwoofer but that will raise the cost with about 500 euros
  15. My approach was everything into the trunk cause I did not know how to bring the cables under the seat, and my subwoofer is also on the trunk since I don't have a woofer enclosure that fits in the spare wheel section Splitted the wires and soldered them together under the dash
  16. https://www.drive2.ru/l/714438467546790126/?fbclid=IwdGRjcANB2hFjbGNrA0HaD2V4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEevBNX94qCMVJrZvzDfCBdng4FHIpI9JE7YFFUHtmhUMhH9-ViatTkyyKdu-Q_aem_B5zaVBKAq3HJAGPDClP0RA Maybe this will help someone, some guys said that there are some vapors on the volume control slider , and that causes issues where the infotainment restarts or changes the volume
  17. Hello did you found a way?
  18. How does they fit ?? Do you have a photo
  19. But still I am aware of the limitations of a clone, and I acknowledge that I won't get support from Ross Tech
  20. Still a lot... For that money I could go to a garage and do a full ambient light retrofit with a app while getting the full car cleaned... Or do 2 full service changes to the car
  21. For a hobbyst like me is not worth to pay 800 Euros or God know how much for a full vcds
  22. Still I don't think this 3rd party infotaiment are off any good
  23. Hello, did not do the upgrade myself, just found them, do you have to a Octavia 4 ? Wanna conect?
