  4. That's not my car, so I don't know the wheel specs. I myself have 19x8.5 ET35 rims with 245/40r19 tyres. Thanks dude! Want to swap the vega’s to other rims and love the stance you have. So ET35 with 240 tires gives no rubbing? Mine is getting lowered in april on eibach pro springs. I have a superb 3 fl combi PHEV.
  5. Any idea what the dimensions of the rims are? ET and J
  6. Hello Guys! Question here! I’m about to buy a winterset for the times i visit the alps. Read alot online and i know there are a couple of threads about this. The problem is that i’m not sure if i would stay with the stock 8J size rims or maybe fit some 8,5. With that i’m not sure to stick with the stock ET44 or maybe go a bit lower like 40 or maybe 35. Also then i’m thinking if i should go with the minimal difference in tyre roll size compared to stock so 235/45/18 or maybe go with the 245/45/18.. Planning on lowering my superb sportline combi iV with some eibach pro’s in the future and dont want any rubbing with a roofbox, and loaded trunk and 2 kids in the back.. Can you guys give a little help on this and maybe some pro’s and con’s? P.S. i need snow chains in Austria but i’m planning on buying some tread chains because of the little room with these dimensions. I know skoda only advises 17 or 16” with the “normal chains”, but i saw that the tread chains (dont know if its the right word) are made for smaller gaps in the arches and cars manufacturers that dont recommend normal chains on higher rim sizes Thank you so much!
  7. Thanks for the reply! Yeah the thread was usefull. But it was an older one. Just wanted to see if more people dit the upgrade or that maybe just switching discs and pads would Already make a difference
  8. Good evening all! After driving the Superb for a while now, I'm really disappointed with the brakes on this car. Especially when braking hard, I feel like it's not doing much and I have to press the pedal all the way through the floor. I saw some threads on Briskoda about upgrading a 280 Superb/GTI or Cupra to 340 on the front and 310 on the rear. The parts are supposed to be plug and play. There are some companies abroad, especially those that supply complete kits with dust covers, calipers, pads, discs, and brake lines. Has anyone here ever done a similar upgrade? Do you think it will make much difference? Or would you just buy decent discs and pads and you'll be well on your way. I initially thought 340 would be nice for looks, but it doesn't make that much of a difference. Thanks for all the info!
  9. @OccyVRS i thought the rear was 310 on the iv models
  10. Hello Guys! Just wanted to introduce me here! I’m michael, 36 years and i live in the south of The Netherlands! Drove a Leon ST Fr with some mods for about 8 years, but because of a broken pano roof we needed to switch cars. Thats when we bought a Skoda Superb iV FL Sportline in steel gray! I always loved the sporty but yet decent look of the superb. We got the superb second handed from 2020 with 78K kilometers. Didnt do any massive upgrades yet, beside a new front logo, black grill and painted the rear oem sportline diffuser in gloss black. Also got a Stage 1 and stage 2 DSG and now running +- 310HP combined and 530NM. In the future i want to mount a eibach pro kit, some decent 19 or 20” rims, dcc slider mod, maxton kit all around, and a brake upgrade because the iV brakes are not that good in my opinion. Thanks for the welcome and happy to be part of this active community to do some Research and get some inspiration! Greetings from the other side of the ocean!
  11. Nice job! Do you have an email adres or something that i can contact you? Or insta? I’m also based in the NL and want to upgrade the childy brakes on my iv to.. just have some questions about the upgrade! Thanks!!
