Due to the state of disrepair of the roads here in Northern Ireland. Not too sure what I pay road tax for :( I am considering changing the KW Variant 1 coilies in my Octavia VRS for something with a bit more damping. I like the ride height but, the comfort thing is getting to me and the car skips in corners when hitting the many bumps. I would also drive a Golf V6 4Motion that has a Koni Kit in it (shocks and springs) and it is a pleasure to drive compared to the solid coilies. Looking some views on this folks from people who have experienced both. Is the hard ride specific to the KW 1's, would the 2's or 3's be better or will I have to leave coilovers altogether to obtain some comfort and stability?? and has anyone any recommendations? I'm currently running 19" RS8's and have a set of Spiders going on soon to see if that makes a difference.

I now own your old Black Octavia. Its in Northern Ireland, has a single exhaust although I still have the twin exit, some CZ band pressed plates and a few more miles. Loving it

1. 17522 P1114 Bank1-Sensor2 Internal Resistant too High 2. 16524 P0140 O2 Sensor Circ.,Bank1-Sensor2 No Activity Detected 3. 17608 P1200 Boost Pressure Control Valve Mechanical Malfunction I am getting these recurring fault codes in my Mk1 Octy VRS. Can anyone help me with this. I haven't noticed any adverse affects to the performance with this. :confused: Its an 03 VRS. Has been Stage 2 remapped by Jabba to 246bhp. Boost controller, Bailey DV30 dump valve, stainless exhaust, silicone hoses, air filter and relocation. Having done a bit of research on here I have found these answers if anyone can confirm them for me?? 1. 17522 P114 = heater gone in Lamda sensor 2 post cat to fix = replace 2. 16524 P0140 = Problem with abs to fix = ??? Anyone? 3. 17608 P1200 = Problem with DV or N249/N75 valve to fix = clean and regrease DV and/or replace N249/N75 valves Hope someone on here can help before I have to bite the bullet and go to the stealers.:thumbdwn: Cheers:thumbup:

That would be mine with the engine cover on the GTINI stand ab211. Wasn't around it much though, the lads were just keepin an eye on it for me whilst I was away doing other things.. Maybe see you at a future event..

Just about to head to this. Hope it still gets a good turnout. Despite the weather.. Was just speakin to one of the organisers there, asking him could we have space for a submarine stand?

The starter motor does spin at the same speed but for a longer period. Sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn't..

I have a 99 Diesel GLI Felicia and when it gets warm e.g normal running temp and I turn the engine off it becomes hard to start and the heater light does not come on.. Anyone got any ideas please..??:confused:
