  1. I’d check the folder structure first, because with these Skoda/VW map updates you normally can’t just copy the downloaded parent folder onto the SD card. The files and folders that the car expects usually need to be directly in the root of the card, exactly as they were arranged in the original update. Also, the formatting could be the problem. Depending on which infotainment/navigation unit you have, exFAT may not be supported even if the Mac lets you format the card that way. I’d check the exact requirements for your 2015 unit and try FAT32 if that is what the update instructions specify. One more thing: if this is the original navigation SD card, some Skoda systems use a specific card that is tied to the unit. In that case, formatting it or replacing it with another card can stop the navigation from recognizing the data at all. So before copying anything again, I’d check: exact infotainment system, required SD-card format, and whether the contents of the update need to be placed directly at the card’s root. The multiple folders in the download are usually all part of the map package, not separate optional folders.
