Just updating the 2nd post for attendees:

They are happy with us on the airfield, they only kicked us off because a plane wanted to use the airfield.

1,150 miles 1 way from Cumbria to mine to Prague Dave. so times 2 and then add about 500 to 1000 miles for getting lost, day trips, airfield and the ring during the trip.

This is details at the moment:
Thursday 13th - Dover early hours for Ferry
Thursday 13th - Evening arrive at Hotel, catch a Tram to city centre to find a nice Restaurant
Friday 14th - Maybe Skoda Factory and Prototypes, then Mimon airfield
Saturday 15th - Doksy and Mimon Airfield
Sunday 16th - Prague city centre walkabout
Monday 17th - Loket Castle (they filmed the new Casino Royale there)
Tuesday 18th - Day trip to Poland, Auschwitz (early morning, long day, if you cant handle this, then you can have an extra day in Prague)
Wednesday 19th - Still to fill (I will let others decide as it is my Birthday)
Thursday 20th - Morning Leave Prague Head to Nurburgring
Saturday 22rd September Leave Nurburgring, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France
Saturday 22nd around 8pm back in UK.

I've come to the decision I might spend the day anyone is travelling to Poland, walking into the City Centre, taking in the sights and sounds, and generally getting more and more drunk on Plzen
Definitely a day the mongrel will remain in the hotel lock-up for the duration.We already have 2 days for doing that. Sunday and Wednesday

hmmm so what else is there in Poland that's on the nearer border?
Klodzko in Poland is only 199km away. Probably worth doing that instead, is it just me that wanted to goto Auschwitz?

The Poland trip is for the people who want to, I am still going, and if you dont think your up for the Poland trip I have said you can arrange something else
I am after Poland to tick off as another country my car has been to.

Wed 18th is an empty day that needs filling, if someone could organise something for the Wednesday
Tuesday 18th is my planned day trip to Poland, this is mainly for the driver across the east of Czech Republic to have a nose.
Monday for Loket Castle may get swapped with Fridays Factory trip, I still have this to arrange, oops. I will contact them this week.
Jason was there any news from skodahome?

I always see a faded yellow one every day

I will never get rid of mine had it 8 years already and it has been on many Brisky meets, I plan to keep it until I cant afford to repair it anymore, so hopefully this is many many many years time.
I find driving across Europe (and Germany) and the keeping to the speed limits
the car is very capable of still keeping up and being economical :sun: -
I have just spotted something interesting on my car, it appears to slowly leak oil from the filler cap.
Do you get this also? if the filler cap well full of oil?
Also does anyone who doesnt get this stutter are they able to check if they have oil build up in the filler cap well?
It could be that the filler cap on mine is not a tight seal and this has been what has caused the stutter problems. I have my fingers crossed as this would be a cheap fix

Is the Skoda factory tour going to be booked direct with them as per usual? all I can find when googling it is the main tours, which are done by third party companies who pick you up from your hotel etc and cost a fortune! Its only been about a fiver each when we've gone in previous years!
If we get in touch with skodahome, we could see if they will take us back to that restaurant we all went to on the second trip, where we ate downstairs, the food was awesome there!!
I have a way of contacting the Skoda Factory, and want to leave a lil bit to organise as would like to see what numbers of people we have going. That way I can use this thread to get some special trips

yeah they have stopped using the airfield except in emergencies, last i knew anyway. Well unless a spaceshuttle is going to land any time soon
