This seems to be quite a common upgrade on the golf 5 GTI (same platform as mk2 octy) whilst fitting the anti-lift bushes, you could also fit the TT front arms for increased negative camber.

the fabia guys remove the silencers,it's called a mufflerectomy and whilst it doesn't sound nice (imo) it is loud

I'm unsure on the TSI engines but i've owned 2 BWA engined octavias (tfsi) and never had any noticeable oil consumption

The bushes won't make a difference, stiffer (thicker) ARB's or stiffer springs should do the job, do you get any adjustments on the shocks?
