Love this forum ,,,,,,, was wondering how to do this, quick seach, done !!

Annoying knocking coming from the rear for a few weeks now, crawled under the rear and found a couple of these have corroded and fallen off making the sheild loose, could that really be the cause of the knocking, that simple ?? I'm in cyprus so not exactly the best place for parts,,, any suggestions for a work around ?

Solved this , changed battery for new higher rated man sized unit,,,,,, everything good :-)

Hi All, Mk1 Fabia Vrs Se 2007 Driving slowly around town today and three dash lights came on for a few seconds accompanied by a few beeps ,,, i'm pretty sure it was the abs light, the handbrake light and one other, they were all def on the right hand dial. Car didnt stop just kept going. This happened three times at about 2 minute intervals. Any ideas ? Should I be worried ? Si

Morning All After a flurry of two Fabia Vrs and an Octavia Vrs in the early 2000's, its been some 8 years since I enjoyed the brand, today I am coming back to the fold !! A Fabia Vrs is a very rare thing in Cyprus, one in good condition is like gold dust, a special edition is like finding the hope diamond !! So when i saw this one a couple of days ago I just had to get it. She is being picked up this afternoon, some work to do to return her back to original spec, but looking forward to the land of torque again. Si

Morning All, Been away from Skoda for a few years, but saw one for sale out here the other day and am now sorely tempted to buy my 3rd Fabia Vrs, this one is Limited Edition number 322. Drove the car last night and its ok, but there are a couple of issues which I'd like some opinion on from you guys before i part with my cash....... There is an aftermarket back box which makes the car sound just daft, has anyone gone the other way and put stock back box back on , expensive ? The gearbox was never a problem in my first two vrs but this one feels like a jigsaw box, found myself searching for gears, is this a common fault easy to fix ?

Currently looking at maybe buying 322 , is the previous owner still here ?
