Love this forum ,,,,,,, was wondering how to do this, quick seach, done !!

Annoying knocking coming from the rear for a few weeks now, crawled under the rear and found a couple of these have corroded and fallen off making the sheild loose, could that really be the cause of the knocking, that simple ?? I'm in cyprus so not exactly the best place for parts,,, any suggestions for a work around ?

Solved this , changed battery for new higher rated man sized unit,,,,,, everything good :-)

Hi All, Mk1 Fabia Vrs Se 2007 Driving slowly around town today and three dash lights came on for a few seconds accompanied by a few beeps ,,, i'm pretty sure it was the abs light, the handbrake light and one other, they were all def on the right hand dial. Car didnt stop just kept going. This happened three times at about 2 minute intervals. Any ideas ? Should I be worried ? Si

Morning All After a flurry of two Fabia Vrs and an Octavia Vrs in the early 2000's, its been some 8 years since I enjoyed the brand, today I am coming back to the fold !! A Fabia Vrs is a very rare thing in Cyprus, one in good condition is like gold dust, a special edition is like finding the hope diamond !! So when i saw this one a couple of days ago I just had to get it. She is being picked up this afternoon, some work to do to return her back to original spec, but looking forward to the land of torque again. Si

Morning All, Been away from Skoda for a few years, but saw one for sale out here the other day and am now sorely tempted to buy my 3rd Fabia Vrs, this one is Limited Edition number 322. Drove the car last night and its ok, but there are a couple of issues which I'd like some opinion on from you guys before i part with my cash....... There is an aftermarket back box which makes the car sound just daft, has anyone gone the other way and put stock back box back on , expensive ? The gearbox was never a problem in my first two vrs but this one feels like a jigsaw box, found myself searching for gears, is this a common fault easy to fix ?

Currently looking at maybe buying 322 , is the previous owner still here ?

Couple of days into type s ownership and the expected pang of regret that I've done the wrong thing just isn't there, I'm loving the honda, it's a rocket propelled lazy boy armchair , just brilliant , with a fantastic sound system , streets ahead of the optional extra sound system I had in the yeti.

It's the seats that are the problem ,,, I just couldn't find a comfortable position, and believe me I tried , lost a small fortune on it , but just had to go , lesson learnt, do a long long test drive !

Well folks after a lot of thinking , some very uncomfortable journeys and a lot of cash, I've gone back to Honda, I just couldn't get comfortable in the yeti , despite it being a top model. Big mistake not getting the electric seats , thought about getting another with that option but just couldn't bring myself to take the risk again. The accord is like a driving an armchair for hours on end. I'm sure I'll miss the yeti , maybe when the new one comes out in a couple of years ...............

The seat in the yeti is amongst the worst I have ever had ,,,,, manual I might add.

+1 on the seats ,,,,, l&k spec should include everything , including electric seats, I just cannot get comfy in ours , it's ruined the car to the point I've tried to sell it recently ,,,,,, don't buy one without this option ticked !

Well folks after a rather expensive delve into the world of the yeti , I've decided to come back to the vrs fold !! Going to lose a small fortune on the 6 month old yeti ,,,,, but you only live once eh !! Dealer order was offered to me a week ago, its turned up and now its mine :-) got to be shortest order to arrival time ever ! Red, Diesel, Black Pack. Just got to wait til I get home to pick it up :-(

Yeti is staying, until 12 months, then another look.

I did get a quote to do this up to 220bhp ,,,,, forgot about it tbh, might be worth revisiting it

The sensible thing would be to hang on the yeti ,,,, the finance is 0% , I've got 3 free services , its a good car that will prob be worth more than the final payment in 2 years time, so mr sensible says keep it ya daft ol git !!! But by god that Vrs was good

Was thinking about getting rid of the Yeti for a Octy Vrs ,,,, had a test drive,,, v surprising how much faster the diesel is in the Vrs,,, anyway, we got down to figures,,, and this is from the skoda dealer I bought the yeti from,,, £18000 trade in for mine against a brand new Octy Vrs. Yep the car I paid £26000 for 6 months ago is now worth £18000 trade,,, with a skoda dealer. Yeti 170CR 4x4 L and K Yeti is staying, no one can afford to lose that much cash :-(

Oh dear, that is quite bad , as well as the gear lever surround.

I am liking my brown leather more and more every day , it's not poo brown it's a lot darker, and the leather used is a much better quality than the standard fit. I was quite apprehensive as I ordered without having first seen it, but over the last three months I've come to love it. Happy to provide pics if you want them mate
