So, the box is definitely toast. Again threw the EGR code, sometimes buzzing and there is a weird aghhhh sound when I switch off the car. So guys, justto confirm, am I looking at either of the two numbers here for the BLT engine, either C or G?

Found what’s causing the loss of power and Check Engine light to come on. It’s not the vacuum box, but the clip that connects to it that is broken causing one side to be loose. I have fastened it somehow… Do you know how I can find the part number and order the part from the dealer. Ty guys.

Hello guys. I just bought a beautiful like new condition Fabia Vrs 2006 with some small issues. The car doesn’t have the power it is supposed to have, feels more like a 100hp Fabia, check engine light is on, and sometimes yellow oil symbol will come and go too. I noticed some buzzing come from the vacuum box on one occasion while the car was running, so I am wondering if that could be the issue? If yes, can I replace it with any other TDI vacuum central, or must it be the one for the BLT engine? The other question I have is regarding the remap. Is 1749vb turbo a plug and play fitment on a BLT as well? If yes, is Melett a good option? Is this SMIC that I got any good for 180hp, if it’s even better than the stock one? Ty for the replies!

I sold my old car two years ago and I just got a beautiful mint condition 2006 Vrs, BLT engine, Esp, heated seats, I will want to find the maxi dot cluster and factory MFD. Where can I get the code for the unit, LHD, 2006 model? What are the chances it could be sorted from the dealer? Slim I guess…

I’m from Serbia, and the car has been imported from Switzerland. I was kind of worried that it might have been in a collision, because, who would replace Oem xenons for this?! But the washers are working, so I guess they were replaced due to failure.

This is the car. Thanks for the info. So somebody must have replaced the burned out oem xenons with the aftermarket headlights and fitted halogen bulbs…. Another thing that puts me off is that the car doesn’t run great. I mean it’s slow. I suspect worn camshaft, but then again the price is good and the interior and bodywork spotless

Hello guys, I am gonna buy a Fabia Vrs, I have a question. The car has headlight washers but not the xenon headlights. The aftermarket headlights have halogen bulbs inside, so I am wondering if they ever sold these with the washers and halogen lights from factory? If somebody just swapped the headlights, I am fine with that, but if somebody tore out the oem xenons and put in these headlights, I am less fine with that. What do you think? The car is 2006, Blt engine…

Ok.... Thanks for the replies guys... She pulls from 2200rpm like it should, but say 3rd gear and 1500rpm says Oh Ok, ready, steady, steady, and gooo... Maybe I am expecting too much, maybe the Fmic and a bigger turbo make it more sluggish at low rpm than the ASZ with a smaller turbo and a small smic. The turbo looks like new on inspection, and there is no normal slight turbo whistle to hear... so I guess the turbo is freshly done by the previous owner... Should ARL pull briskly and immediately at low rpm?

Maybe. The engine on the Cupra sounds really really healthy though when up to temp, window open and I revv it...No smoke, can’t hear the turbo, really beautiful to listen to... Cant sound any better... So I was thinkin maybe turbo lag from a bigger turbo and bigger intercooler causing the flat spot....

Hello guys, I have a feeling that VRs pulls easier and is generally nippier than Cupra that I bought a couple of days ago... Is that normal? My Cupra seems to be a bit sluggish and not so responsive to about 2500rpm... It’s like it hasidates for a second and accelerates slower than I think it should...Is the engine tuned differently, or the fact that it has the Seat Sport Fmic that needs to be filled with air that makes it a bit sluggish. All in all, Vrs seems to be a faster and nippier car... Maybe Cupra would nail it at higher rpm and long accelerations, but definitely not the impression while driving?! I mean the Cupra can spin wheels in second gear if I floor it, once it goes past the turbo lag or something... Bottom line, Cupra has 118kw and Vrs 96... It looks like it’s the other way around... Maybe the Cupra has some slight engine problem?!
