Software failure not so Superb
I've just made a post in the MK2 Kodiaq forum - had my car 3 months - same problems as yourselves with the added problem of the car just randomly applying the emergency brake - even when nothing around me. My dealership (who have been awesome - Simpsons Preston) said the current software update does not work properly - and Skoda are working on an updated version with an expected date of March 2025.

Skoda want my Kodiaq for 3 months to fix it !!
Hi Mk 2 owner here - I started having a few problems with the digital dash / infotainment system............this progressed into the Automatic Braking System applying on it's own with no other vehicle anywhere near to me - when this happens on the motorway it really concentrates your mind !! Took my car into dealer today.........they just called and said it needs a new softare update which wont be available until March - the current update is bricking some vehicles it is applied to so they need to write a new one. The cruise control unit being faulty was mentioned as well. Great car............sadly let down by not being tested thoroughly enough before launch. My dealer has been absolutely brilliant - not their fault at all (Simpsons Preston) BTW My car is 2.0l diesel sel.

Usb C socket near to rear view mirror for dashcam........issues.
Quick update - yes it's switched so it powers off when you leave the car. And I have had no problems whatsoever with it since placing the adapter into the usb c socket - works perfectly - and much better than having wires training all over the car to the cigarette lighter socker or usbc lower down in the car. Usb C socket near to rear view mirror for dashcam........issues.
Problem solved...........with a simple usbc to usb a adapter from amazon - cost £5 for 2 !! Works fine - very very strange. But at least it's solved.

Usb C socket near to rear view mirror for dashcam........issues.
Hi Picked up brand new SEL Kodiaq - 2.0 diesel this week. All good so far - compared to the older model the wireless usb charging pads in the dash are lightningly fast - in fact my pixel 7 pro actually says charging rapidly when placed on one of them and I think they may be ventilated as I have had no "overheated" messages which I got with my old Kodiaq.. However the usb c socket next to the rear view mirror wont power a dashcam (I have tried 3 now) - but it will show as charging my mobile phone if I connect it via a cable to that socket. I have just ordered a usb c to usb a adaptor to see if that makes a difference - my dashcam takes usb c for the power so I was hopeful a short usb c lead would avoid having to hide wires etc. I have tried a number of usb c cables as well and even switched ends in case they would only work in one direction !! I'll report back how I get on with the adaptor. If anybody has a dashcam that "just works" with this socket please let me know..............Amazon can't be too happy with me keep sending them back !!
