Salad Dodger

Thanks Big K - my mind is now set at ease!!

Not the same Salad Dodger from UKRM I'm afraid!! So any tips about the chipping?? The only one I have investigated so far is the APR install with the lockout controlled through the cruise control. Does anyone have any experience of this - pros / cons??? I have seen the word Jabba thrown around alot as well - is this a better system on the whole?? I know, I have only just joined and it is questions, questions, questions!!!!!! I have the need for Dynamic Blue Speed though, my other half has a Leon TDi Cupra so realistically I need to gain a few BHP in order to maintain 'trouser wearing' status in the house!!!!!

I ummed and erred between the 4x4 Turbo and the TDi Elegance Estate. Economy won the day so I now own a 2000 110 TDi Elegance in Dynamic Blue ( I am a sucka for the colour!!) - and very impressed I am too - an excellent car, just put the K&N in which has given it a little more life. Currently reading though the posts to suss out what is the best way of upping the power - I have looked at APR but I see that there are quite a few other options available. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Many thanks for the welcome.

Don't know if anyone can shead any light on this - I have a 2000 110 TDi, when I stop and turn the ignition off there is a nosie from the engine compartment which sounds like a spring releasing???????? I have taken it to the dealer and the man in the overalls frowned, listened, fiddled with various pipes and then confessed - 'that's pretty normal mate - it's a release of pressure from this (pointing to to something between the bulkhead and the engine)'. Is this normal? Is it simple? Should I just turn my super sensitive hearing down? Am I not used to having a refined car after driving a Jeep. Answers and abuse would be welcome. Ta very much
