I`ve been dealing with wings for a couple of months now and I must say Justin and Nick are very pleasant saled persons. I have been trying to offload my Astra 1.8 SRi Sport hatch for a Fabia Vrs for a while and at my 1st attempt they could not help me regards P/x price. So I left it and relegated myself to driving my Poxhaul Astray until it dies on me. A month and a half passes and Justin rings me with good news. He found a dealer interested in my Astray for a good price and then Nick ran through the VRs figures with too. Pick it up tommorow from wings and I really cant wait. My first deisel too.

I would buy my old VXR8 back if I had enough money to run the damn thing. It was by far the best car I have ever driven and the best thing Vauxhall ever did was import Holdens. I miss it but if I did own her again she would be wrapped up in the garage and driven in the dry and at weekends only.

Hi all. I`m Baz from the north of Peterborough and I`m happy to say I`m picking up my Black 07 Plate Fabia VRS with 12k on the clock from the dealer on Tuesday. I`m well exited as I`ve never owned a Diesel before and when I test drove it I had i a whale of a time. I hope to be a regular on this site and welcome any advice you may have. Cheers

Hi Looks like I got a bit too exited as Skoda just phoned me and said they can`t offer me enough for my Astra to meet the Settlement figure. Back to the drawing board I think, unless they call me back later with better news.

I could be a new Fabia vRS owner if Skoda will entertain may 08 Astra sri as PX. I`m looking at a black 07 plate with 11k on the clock for around £11k I test drove it today and was amazed at the quality of the ride and how it pulls in 6th. To say I`m smitten is an understatement. I have to thank a guy on this forum (cant remember his name off hand) who sold his Silver Clio to us yesterday for having his vRS on his drive. I loved the look of it and decided this morning to bite the bullet and get one. I`ve avoided diesels since I got my licence and have driven some very thirsty petrol cars. I`ve had an Astra VXR, Vectra VXR and a VXR8 and they all were no where near as satisfying to drive as the Fabia. It must have been the MPG I got!! 48mpg on a 10 minutes test drive giving it the beans. I love it. If you know who you are from yesterday who sold the Clio to my GF Rachael say hello.
