Monte Carlo is a TRIM spec, not a type, please supply correct vehicle details. You might as well ask if a throttle pedal from a blue one will fit a red one!
As it happens it does need to fit a red one.
I have edited the post cheers

Hi guys/gals,
Does anyone know if the throttle pedal from other fabias will be fine in a 1.2tsi cbzb engine code monte carlo I know they look different but I cannot find a replacement for mine with the correct part numbers unless it has been superceded mine is 6r2721503d most I can find are 6q1721530a though m
Will one of these work?
Cheers

on -50 mm springs 18" bk racing 239s
lowerd on coilovers 17" bk racing alloys
-
All done now
what ya think?
-
Do you think that would happen even if I only lowered it by 25mm?
i guess it will after time maybe not 6 months though
-
Your bump stops wont last long on those springs to be fair though. Looks really good though pal
another reason y its now on coiles
-
I've been considering lowering springs for a while, I'm after a 25mm drop and then change wheels and tyres to 215 40 17
I was concerned about excessive wear on the standard shocks...
This has made my mind up I think...
i had the springs on the standed shocks of 6 months and that was long enouth to ruin them they were good when we first put the springs on so i would say get some shortend shocks too
-
Looks good man! 50mm drop on just springs look pretty low
it was lower than the coilies when i first put them on on but now its settled its about the same need to put sum new pics of her up now its settled

My sunroof is playing up and doesnt seem to want to work then it will work fine till it stops (usually when its open) iv had a look at it and cant find anything wrong with it
all i have noticed is that if i remove the fuse cover and push all of the fuses it starts to work again (not sure which fuse is the right one as cant find the owners manual due to house move)
any ideas?
its a 54 reg VRS
thanks Michael

Lol . I Went through a drastic weight loss programme with my S1 rallye no trim, no back seats, cage . No sound deadening. Just cage and harnesses and pugsport exhaust. Took my dad out in it and he told me it was like driving a biscuit tin full of scaffolding, with a Wellington bomber chasing us.
Its worth it though...
sounds like my brothers nova 2 buckets 2 harness a speedo and rev counter and half a dash thats it no carpet no door cards glovebox passanger side dash goes like **** off a shovel (2L red top) but my dad wont get in it and he is less than nice about it
-
mine still has standed drop links and is low as it will go
-
I had some in my car though need not choice but i didnt find them that good not the colour i was after at all and both of them blew after 8 months
-
sidelights=501
dipped=H7
high beam=H3
fog=H3
not sure about the rest as this is the limitetion to my knowledge
these are whats in mine and they have a nice white glow to them nice and bright too

-
iv got the cheep whit sidelights that cam with my ocky white H4s i bout in my vrs and has a very cool white with a very slight tinge of blue in them
-
iv got the sam problem with mine and they have helper springs fitted (came with kit)
and my mechanic said i need to replace the bearing in the top mount as it has been sparyed with wd40 and the noise has gone away but he said to stop it coming back again to replace the bearing

Finally after 2 months of trying to conact the ppl who sold me the coilovers and getting them machined to fit they have been fitted and im not a happy bunny as they are ment to be drop down to 120mm you tell me is this a 120mm drop????
I know im not acctually going to drive it around on a 120mm drop but it would have been nice to know that they would acctually go down that far if i wanted to also the 50mm springs i took out made it lower than it is on the collies (although it did f**k all the shocks in the process) and the ride is much nicer but it still has a little front end bounce but not enought to **** me off like it did with just the springs
as you can see they are all wound right down
while we were changing these found out why iv gone though a set of front tyres in just over a month
the driverside front strut had came out and twisted around  not sure what iv hit
oh and you can also see from the pics iv tinted the rear windows too so a bit of and up date on that front and i think that these wheels are growing on me as iv had it on as a spear for a few of days

Ecp strange fault
in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Posted
Hi has anyone come across this at all it's a 2011 1.2tsi.
Ecp light and limp mode but not from cold (left over night)
Codes that come up when scanned state low voltage to throttle position sensor.
Original pedal always in limp mode clear code and on again after 5seconds.
Replaced the peddle with a second hand one and was better will do about 10 miles before going into limp mode Normally only from cold but occasionally it will reset when warm.
Bought a brand new peddle from skoda and normally when cold it will run fine till the blue temp light goes out (anything from 1 to 3 miles) puts the epc light on and will either completely loose all throttle response (turn key off and on again 9 times out of 10 will just put into limp) or put the car into limp mode with reduced throttle.
When the car has no throttle it Revs high about 1500rpm and if you put your foot on the brake it drops to 850-900rpm then as soon as you release the brake it climbs back to 1500.
Video of fault
Has anyone had anything similar or any ideas on a fix?
Hope all that makes sense to someone.
