Time to change the original Michelins after 30k. Based on the reviews I would like to go with Toyo Proxes. Looking for someone to supply & fit,any recommendations ?. Cheapest I have seen for 205/55 16s is appx

Something sharp got caught in the base of one of my wipers and when I switched them on I have a scratch in an arc shape for about 4 inches from the base. Fortunately the offending item became dislodged so the damage want as bad as it could have been. I live in Chelmsford. Does anyone know where I can get it sorted and what the likely cost would be. I have heard of chips being repaired, but not sure about anything bigger than that. Hope I wont need a new screen. It's on the near side but its going to bug me all the same. Thanks. Kevin. You should watch out for your photo being taken. 70mph in 5th is 2400-2500rpm, and my TDI likes to cruise at 3000rpm which equals a a naughty ninety (theoretically !) - Enjoy .

Bought an Octy Elegance TDI Hatch on 0% - My V5 says I'm the registered keeper-new at 1st registration. Really chuffed with it apart from the lack of "drinks cabinet" which the wife's Fabia has. ( Fabia owners will know what I'm on about !)

I bought a Fabia 16v comfort hatch which was less than 1 yr old from a dealer. He was "up front" about it being an ex hire car when asked about history. Personally I would rather have an ex hire car than an ex-demo as I feel an ex-demo would have got more abuse. I havent had any probs with the car (apart from the obligatory dashboard squeak !) for over 18mths. Every used car has "previous" of some description doesnt it ?.
