Blimey that was quick! Yes I think the multi layers of bubble wrap was part of the parcel sizing/price issue 😂 I'm currently fighting with Currys to get our tv repaired. Won't bore with the details, but during one of their 5 attempts to collect the damn thing they dropped off 2 massive rolls of bubble wrap for another team to then use later. That later team brought their own wrap, so I now officially have an excess sitting in the garage - hence allowing me to go to town on the roof bars 😎

That had me confused for a while - it flashes up really quickly. Also amused to learn (in conjunction with that symbol) the car won't knowingly undertake either.

Essentially yes. I know it's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, but disabling start stop and selecting 'individual' EVERY time the car is started does get annoying, especially when the menus are feeling a bit sleepy. First world problems 😂

Adding a bit to your description.... This is an Android device which is used, via Apple Carplay (pretending to be an iPhone basically) in Android Auto/Carplay enabled cars and will display apps full screen e.g Netflix, Youtube, Waze, Maps etc. Has a SD card slot so can be rammed full of music and also a SIM card slot which can be used to provide data - otherwise it needs to be linked to a hotspot on your phone (or to your car if you install a SIM card, which is what I did). Will happily function offline though for local music. Connect and forget - boots up everytime the car starts and away you go. Then, as described above, you can optionally use it to provide a WIRELESS connection for either Android Auto or Carplay from your existing phone - so acts as a bridge for cars Skodas pre 2020 which don't support wireless (ignores the apps installed on the actual device in this mode). Decent gadget and works well, does occasionally fight with the car's inbuilt audio. Used mine for a few months while waiting for delivery of my "AA Wireless" gizmo then sold on (for £30 more than being asked here!)

Pleasing results I'd say - green (city) +2, plenty more pep than standard, possibly a bit much for everyday but will live with it for a while a tweak accordingly. Red (sport+) +3 must be... unpleasant 😂

Pedal box fitted. Quickest and easiest mod ever completed, 10 mins start to finish including reading instructions and routing controller into cubby (no disassembly required). Haven't driven yet, popping out later.

Hi, Yes everything in the pictures above is included: bars, feet and box. You will need new feet to fit to the rails on your car - I can't say for sure but I'd be 95% positive the bars will be suitable as they were generous on my mk2 width wise. Also though, I have 2 further sets of bars/feet for sale (one I believe came from an Octavia Mk2 estate, the other from a BMW X5) so they would definitely fit the width of a vRS width wise - but whether the feet would be compatible with the mk4 rails would need to be double checked. I would say pop in to check but you're a bit of a drive away in Essex unfortunately.

Just bought a full set of genuine mud guards on Ebay, £35 including postage (front and rear). Not fitted yet though.

Loft clearout - 3 grill surrounds, all for mk2 Octavia facelift (2009+). 1 inner plastic section (which from memory was not oem - but better than the original). One grill plastidipped white, very, very badly. £50 delivered / £45 collection Paulton BS39.
