  1. Is it my imagination that after having cambelt/pump change the car is running smoother and quite.?.
  2. So if the price increases a lot would one have it done 10 months earlier?
  3. Regarding the 2.5 mm tyre. One winter slid into high kerb and damaged the wheel and tyre. No other damage but whilst talking to a guy at the garage he said they have a identical wheel for £10 tyre worn .So no brainer and it has been in boot forever more passing all mots without comment. As for the other points mentioned have to go with the flow . Thanks.
  4. So now done 108775 miles and Skoda say it will be time to change the cambelt, no mention of pump. Price £549, eye watering. Four years ago £350 including pump . Also say front discs and pads at 70% worn , £195. First time for discs, pads once before. Whats the current price from Skoda dealers for these. It has been from new Skoda dealer for everything barring tyres , the spare had gone too 2.5mm, they quoted a figure which I ignored and National done my Bridgestone for £64.46.
