Yes I have a jumbo box but there's no aux jack in it.

Ok guys had the car into the dealers. They said they have updated the radio and thats it fixed..... erm no it isn't, so will book it back in on Monday!

Hi mars, thats my point I cant find any jack point. I checked the centre box. I was wondering if it was somewhere that I couldn't find. The instead of the mulit changer theory maybe correct?

Could someone tell me what the Aux button on the radio is for? On pervious cars I've had there has been a aux jack for plugging an ipod into but I'm unable to locate the jack so wondering what use the aux feature is?! thanks

Thanks guys. I just been out and held the menu button on. I have the following readings, can anyone tell me what they mean. ANT is ON Q: MONO MP: 9 NK: 2 RDS: 4 The signal is still very poor and only showing 2 bars on the scale.

I am having problems with a poor radio reception. I have checked the aerial is screwed on tight, which it is. I am at loss as to what else to try? I managed to peel the roof lining back and get a look at the bottom of the aerial and everything seems ok there. As an experiment I disconnected the coax cable from the aerial at the plug which is about 10 inches back from the aerial base and just stuck in a bit of coax cable I had lying about. This worked great and the signal picked up. I don't have any of these types of connectors or else I had considered just plugging the coax in and doing away with the aerial but the cable would possibly rattle just lying in the roof space. So any ideas what's up or what I can do to fix it? 06 Octavia Vrs II Thanks

Maybe not much use but on my 06 Octavia II Vrs, When pulling out the front fog switch the green light on the switch lights up but no warning on the dash. When I pull the knob further for rear fogs the light for the rears on the switch does not light up but a warning on the dash does. Hope that makes sence to you! I know this as I was messing with them yesterday as I thought I had a fault as only 1 rear fog was on, I'm now told thats the way it should be. Although going from what your saying I may still have a fault as the light on the switch does not light to show the rear fog is on, only a warning on the dash!

Hi Guys, Sorry - my bad.... I should have searched harder! As I am just new to having a Skoda I had no idea what VAG-COM is/was. I have had look at the above link and it looks a bit complicated for me, even if I did have the equipment to do it! I though it was mabe a case of adding a fuse or something! If it has to go back to the dealers I will enquire if they can do it. Thanks....

Hi, I have a 06 Octavia VRS. It only has 1 rear fog light on the offside. I checked the nearside and it has a double fillamint bulb which would suggest that it should have fog lights on both sides, is this correct? I have tried replacing the bulb incase it had blown but still no joy.
