Yes you read correctly, this first time experience for my Fabia Vrs and I was a long 12 hour hard slog over the previous 2 days. Bright and breezy, full of energy and anticipation I arrived at Oggys place (when I eventually found it!) just after 8am Friday. We set to and cleaned, clayed, polished, waxed and buffing galore within an inch of my life! So glad I had the black coffee first! Well I certainly learnt how to and not to detail my filthy car, I didn't think it was that bad until I looked at the before pics, especially when so many 'wow' comments from friends and family. The salesman in my local dealership even asked who detailed it and commented how it wiped the floor of any in the showroom/forecourt, when I went on the hunt for rear mudflaps. So firstly a major THANKYOU to Oggy for having the patience and tolerance letting me help him with my Vrs, to his swimbo for the refreshments too. But most of all I didn't think my Vrs could look so, all hail Oggy and his amazing bag of technical dream detailing kit . . . . i'll be back for the full monty machine polishing after Chatsworth. Bonjour all, yes the freezer has a full drawer of ice cubes in the making, may as well as its empty otherwise. Its either hot coffee or icy drinks, I dont intend drinking 'warm'. I was thinking of a ice bin able to hold anyones drinks. The camping stove idea had crossed my mind too, fresh italian black coffee . . . . bliss! Im taking a massive picnic blanket, large cool bag with salad goodies etc, how bout a mass picnic idea, everyone bring and share? just going to check the gazebo is all ok, somewhere to shade or naked sunbathing - oggy mentioned :confused: dont ask me ??:rotz: any other ideas? Well chaps, what can I say but a big THANKS, especially Darren for organising it. None of you bit or shouted, although some snarled..... tee hee hee. Really enjoyed the drive, it was certainly fun and a real giggle. It took Joshs (my 18 yr old) mind off his broken 'extra' big toe anyhow, and he even complemented his mummy on her driving too! I was gutted no easter egg hunt tho! x x x
