Hi, SInce I had intercooler fit it has taken the space where my cupra intake was. Therefore, iam trying to find an induction kit to tidy the area up and improve the air flow. At the moment, the cupra intake is loose in the engine bay. Can anyone help? Thanks [email protected]

Hi, Some of you will know that I have had my fabia 1.9 tdi pd100 fitted with large fmic and remapped to 151 bhp and 252 lb/ft torque. Even with this amount of power/ torque I have to be careful accelerating on the current greasy and wet rodes. I wondered how you vrs owners with 180bhp + are coping Cheers John N.B I have 185x50x15" alloys

Hi, There seems to be a move from the vag group to move away from electronic unit injection (PD) to 2nd or 3rd generation common rail. I thought that PD/ EUI technology was more efficient than common rail because of the high injector pressures delivered by individual pumps supplying each cylinder, as opposed to common rail which has one pump. Does anyone know if the performance of 3rd generation common rail has outperformed PD/EUi? Best wishes john [email protected]

Hi, It does have a cupra intake but the fmic now sits in it's place - so at the moment it's loose. Iam considering a bmc cda intake with custom fabricated mounting. The car drives really well, it now seems 'free revving'. I want to compare it (accelaration etc) with a standard furby vrs or golf 1.8t etc but have not found willing participants ! I was a little 'dissapointed' at first with the stats because Revo Technik quote similar figures without fmic. However, I know someone that has their software installed and the increase is not as 'predicted'. Any thoughts about the grpahs or this text will be welcomed. Best wishes [email protected]

Okay guys so I the rolling road test on 13/02 revealed the following figures: 252.3 lb/ft @ 2713 rpm 150.9 bhp @ 4143 rpm remember this is from a tdi pd 100 not a vrs model. Any thoughts about whether iam near the maximum, or would you suggest there is a little left to go? Cheers [email protected]

Hi Guys, Allard who fitted the fmic and remapped the fabia are sending me some pics which I will post asap. Iam going to guess at 160+bhp 260lb/ft from driving it for 2 days, it just flies. I have the rolling road test on 13/02 - wait n see Cheers John
