very rarely wash mine and it never seems dirty until you do wash it and you realize how white it really is.......

we have taken the "thing" for a few washes ....toooooooooo big for our bath..they charge £20,,,,,,he loves a scrap with the wife

 

we have taken him to a dog friendly hotel and caravan and cottage but you are limited then as he soon gets tired he is a bit of a coach potato our fatlad

 

we went away last year for 11 days to Rhodes and we used animal angels who stop at your house it cost us about £500 ish just for animal angels that's where the money is dog / house sitting.

As the citigo only has 2 seat belts in the back does anybody know if you can fit a lap belt in the middle?

The whole bumper has to be removed to replace the chrome grille surround with a black one - not something you want the dealer doing!

Car is jinxed ............

 

1,Windscreen/ roof / bonnet / a pillars all scratched huge piece of wood came off a van hit my car.

2. security at work pressed wrong button on way in to work smashed front of car needs new bumper / under tray /

3, something like a bike been down side of car

4, yesterday driving to work some metal in road flew up a scuffed wheel...

5, soooooooon be going getting a scout and not in white

well had my car about 4 months ...........its jinxed

 

a huge piece of wood came off a builders van and made a mess of the bonnet / side pillars / windscreen

 

then a load of scratches and marks where some body had gone down the side of the car ,,,,bike or something

 

now came into work and the guy who presses the button for the security barrier to go up or down out of the floor decides to press up just as I am coming through it

 

hence needs new front bumper and under tray and god knows what else.............

 

but on a good note really like the car but going to change the colour and see if my look changes I just think its jinxed being white...daft I now but its either a wrap of get rid of it

 

any ideas on colours would be appreciated I thought of luna grey like on the audi a6 or monte-carlo blue like the m5

My mkIII is miles ahead of my mkII in terms of quality.

mine as well..........my wifes citigo was quality than my mk2 vrs and was hoping my mk3 would be the same and it is  much better than my mk2

[twin exhaust]

don't know if I should buy the miltek exhaust system with the real twin rear silencers resonated or take it to an exhaust place where I know who make one off exhaust systems and have a rear one fitted.

Called in and they said its no problem to do.

Was going to get the exhaust done once shark performance as done the remap for the mk3 diesel.

same run mon -fri in my old mk2 dsg diesel I was getting 48mpg its 15 miles to work nobody else on the road ( 4am  ) now I have the mk3 manual I am getting 56 or that's what the trip computer is saying ,

but I don't put as much fuel in so it must be doing more mpg don't know if winter tyres make any difference I still have mine on, will be changing them at the end of this month,

mine is white prefer it to the blue but its always mucky and you get a lot of black spots  on it which don't wash off but when!!!!! it is clean it looks really good although I am getting quotes to get it wrapped in a dark grey like a luna grey

looks really great.....I am thinking of having the whole car wrapped in a luna grey with a gloss black roof ....not sure what to do with my silver roof rails

[new windscreen or not?]

Today a rather large piece of timber fell of a pick up truck on to my car I was going about 50 and he was coming the other way I thought the windscreen had gone but for a second with the bang!

stopped car and I would never believe a piece of wood could scuff / scratch a windscreen and the side window!

I can live with all the scratches and damage.....all over roof...silver roof bars damaged...bonnet every panel on drivers side what I carnt live with is a bloody whistling window if I have it changed...

Has anybody on here had experience of a new windscreen fitted.

I just carnt be arsed.........to get to work I pass a quarry dirty roads and 2 pits.......filthy roads that's why I never wash it....but will invest in some wet wipes that's a good idea........sorted

Ok hands in the air......I never clean the car go to work between 4 and 6 get home about 6 or 7 weekends Its all about the family so we go out with our son who is 6......so don't have time to clean car.

been pulled by the police because he could not read my number plate...I advised him to walk to the front where he could read it...but I mean you get pulled for that and they waste time...............But ! phone them up about anything and they don't even bother to turn up...

there rant over and number plate still dirty same as car inside and out.......

Not got a power washer just sponge / mitt and car wash liquid but carnt get in to clean all the nooks and crannies the only thing I could think of was a tooth brush?

i picked up my new one last week and Skoda wanted £160.00 just too put it on...the black grille ..they said they had to take off the bumper...

i wasn't going to pay that much.. now i still have a black grille in the box..  

I pulled in at skoda at 08.15 and was driving back home at 09.00am and that's with a vac and a wash
