does anybody know if an offsett of 48 would fit my mk4 vrs.......
there are that many figures going round it given me a bloody headache

Still carnt decide which winter wheels to buy,,,too many to pick from,
Fancy these but dont know what they would look like after winter not being washed and all the bloody salt

got mine saturday mate............white / diesel / manual / estate / de=badged / kessy / tints /. winter pack/
really impressed with the build quality and toys....lots more software than my mk2 bet you carnt wait

had mine 3 days and I can not even see them will have another look tomorow

de-badged and windows tinted but its too dark outside so will take a pic tomoz.....used a guy near me for the tints he as done some at the skoda garage itself and my mates x5 he really knows his stuff

any instructions on how to de-badge it?
heated the badge for about 15 secs then used dental floss......then used T-cut to get the remaining glue off took all of 15 mins

just de-badged the back,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,mice and smooth easy to clean
also had the rear windows tinted for glare and privacy and must say he as done a great job

Just picked my vrs up first impressions alot more settings to play with ,,,seats comfy and the manual box is a dream
hope its as reliable as my mk2 was......just need to de-badge it and some other bits

well finally got to see my new car.....not had time for xmas shopping anf running about....
took a quick picture and can get it next saturday,,could have had it from wednesday but I havnt the time but here is a quick pic

And you can't lock your keys in
Thats why I have it on mine
got the "thing"out of the boot,,,,wife and son and then messing about with 6 year old....Wife says where sare the keys.......on the back seat....and the car has locked its self

Dealer rang me this morning to say the car has arrived ..........
but can only get topick it up at weekends on my job so will be getting the keys on the 26th,,,,,
white estate vrs, winter pack,kessey nd manual,,,,,I know alot like dsg but every one is different and its not for me.......
so got a manual this time just need my winter wheels and tyres on getting some Dotz freeride 17inch with conti,s
and getting the rear and side pillar back tinted and factory on mine was not that dark
looking forward to the heated seats like in my wifes citigo

2 weeks abroad some where hot with my 6 year old son,,,,,,
another 1 week at the lake district again with my son
rest of my 2 weeks remaining doing house stuff,,,,,,,,,,boring but needs doing

we need recomendations on the forum..........
I have used a firm in leeds and have seen them at the BMW dealers doing the tints so they did mine and no rattles a tall I suppose its down to experiance and how many cars they have done,

I bought a tag back in 2001 never missed a beat even when the battery was getting low it went onto every 5 second mode to save energy
was thinking of a new watch myself, another tag but thinking about it mine is still perfect and worn daily so will wait..

build week 38 expected in mid oct but what annoyed me was I was told I would get an e mail and update every 2 weeks..........
To be honest the real issue with me is when we got our citigo we got an r mail or phone call every 2 weeks although it did take 20 weeks to come due to the sunroof option,But to say the same and never contact you once is pretty pants!....

I re booted the PID unit through navigon as it was well out of date
after this it all worked as it should be

ordered a new mk3 vrs in July and had no contact what so ever......pretty poor if you ask me
no e-mails,,,,no phone call no teven a tex..
but when it does come it mat be weeks and weeks before I get a chance to go over :moon: .

we have 2 greatdanes and they are always on lead and have been bitten by dogs off lead many times,,,,,we keep them off lead but as soon as we see other dogs or people we put them back on you dont want 100kg hitting you full on.
we have had more arguments saying its your bloody big dog.............but its theres who start it........
I would tell the police at first and try and get a picture of the owner and dogs
people are that slack they think the dogmatic round there mouth is a bloody muzzle
I now take a large stick disguised as a baseball bat,,,,you never know when it will come in handy

mine was factory glass on mymk2 vrs not very dark so this time ordered my new mk3 vrs estate but getting it tinted by a firm in leeds

The 'fact is' as you've put it, you shouldn't be posting things that say you've seen a potentiometer collision and consciously decided not to try and avoid it, instead you've purposely tried to make the other driver panic.
My advice is to keep these things to yourself.
I was 3ft passed the front of the parked up hgv the Bentley driver purposely squeezed in .......I did nothing but moved to the curb and he continued like a moron to get between to hgv,s.........I was simply comenting on his face as he realised he had dropped a *******!
