Morning all, I’ve got a 2018 L&K Superb and the Kessy on drivers door doesn’t work, I’ve scanned with a Carista OBD reader and my local VAG specialist has also scanned. Same results, open circuit. 
 

Kessy on passenger door and virtual pedal on tailgate works perfectly. 
 

On searching it appears it’s a well known fault amongst the VAG platforms, just wondering if anyone has an updated method of sorting it? I am considering just booking into dealer but that’s likely to cost an arm and leg.

Does your car have keyless entry on all doors? If so, swap the handle from front to back and see if the problem persists.

 

It's typically the actual capacitive element inside the handle fails, if the error doesn't follow the handle, most likely a wiring issue unfortunately.

Check the wiring itself with a multimeter by disconnecting from both ends, but theres a good chance its the handle itself.
