Woke up this morning to this …. Badger is the only thing I can think of. It had also been up on the bonnet and windscreen which were also pretty badly scratched as well ! p.s bird poo was overnight as well !

My 2015 280 has coasting in eco mode or ( I think ) as a selection in the individual settings. I've used it a couple of times over the years .... I once used it over a full tank of fuel on the standard 3 mile commute and noticed no appreciable gain in MPG just as a test ... But then I didn't opt for this engine to worry about fuel consumption plus I only do about 7k a year on average. I think if used carefully on long runs you may be able to eek out a few more MPG I did try that and had over 40mpg interesting but not for me.

Mines just been done .... Keep an eye on the coolant level and temp gauge. Get underneath and have a look on your drive for coolant. Look carefully at and around the undertray for fresh signs of coolant. Have a good sniff around the engine bay..... Make sure the neighbours cant see you doing this ... p.s. also make sure the DSG and Haldex oil have been done and the Haldex strainer had a good clean.

Just to confirm what NS says I honestly can’t see me changing this car until I absolutely have to.

Had mine since new in 2015 and appears to have had all the usual faults if you have a search round all documented on here. Most expensive would have been 2 new tailgate struts followed by new water pump. DSG has been faultless 2015 has 6 speed.
