Thanks, interesting wonder if mine needs the upgrade, the car is great, but this is my 5th Octavia, & the first to do this

My 2023 1.5tsi SE L has a rear knocking noise from the suspension, it sounds like the boot isn't secure but it is.

Update, called Skoda Assist on App, they were brilliant, they were with me in 40 mins, Battery found to be at fault, & replaced, coded to car & all error codes & warnings lights removed, all under warranty! Very impressed!

My car has recently been serviced by the dealer, & done 2, 230 mile journeys. Yesterday & today, it had a "flat battery", after being parked overnight without fault. This afternoon it totally failed, & I had to get a jump start, I now have an Amber engine management light on as well. Any ideas? The car is a 2023 Octavia SE L 1.5tsi act, manual box with just 12,000 miles on the clock.

Hi, I bought my mk4 in March, used, from a Skoda dealer. I still have cover with Green flag from my Mk3, which is up for renewal shortly. My question is, How does the breakdown service work, as I have no paperwork or email mentioning any cover I may or may not have. If I was to need to press the spanner button in the car, who comes out, & will I be charged?

Is it possible to change the navigation voice to a female one? My mk3 had a female voice, my mk4 has a male voice.

Sold my mk3 to friends on Tuesday! It had been my best Octavia I'd ever owned! Car 9 on owners register thread. It did object on the day, as the microswitch that opens the boot failed! I picked up a mk4 on Wednesday! It's my 5th Octavia since 1999.

Thanks everyone, now sorted, contacted skoda digital services, they messaged me back. Yes it was my email & app password & the 2 keys.

I've created an account downloaded Skoda essentials & Skoda apps, but I haven't been sent a Skoda ID, I have an email titled Skoda ID but apart from one for Skoda themselves, I don't appear to have one. So unable to activate. Rang dealer, mentioned it to them, he said try Skoda's ID.

Just collected my new to me mk 4, 1.5tsi SE L, 9 months old on a 23 plate. Was told about the app, it wants me to activate my car & become primary user, I've stopped short of this, concerned I might mess up the infotainment system! Do I really need to do it?
