  1. I'm sure that when we travelled to the Nurburgring last year via the Chunnel, France , Belgium , Germany and back via Rotterdam, every time we crossed the border, it gave me information regarding speed limits etc on the infotainment system and it automatically changed from mph to kph and back again. I can't specifically remember about the headlights changing, but I know the car does it and stickers were not needed.
  2. I always use Opie Oils www.opieoils.co.uk for my supply and use Fuchs Oils, never let me down, deliveryand price is excellent. They currently have a black Friday discount as well.
  3. Great photos 👍 Like to see someone who takes care and pride in their car. I try and clean mine, once a week and agree with the wheels, that get a lot of brake dust. Just think that the brake pads are a compound that is less durable and generates more dust than previous Skoda/VW models i.e. Passat TDI 2013 model.
  4. The best window cleaner i have found is from Duel Autocare ( www.duelautocare.co.uk) Very easy to use and leaves a very clear finish, so much so, that I use it on my windows in the house and the shower screen. The wife has also commented how good it is. Service and delivery from Duel is excellent and have used many products from them, all excellent. Recommended 👍
  5. Welcome, from a fellow Superb Mk 4 owner 😀 from Manchester. Love my car to bits, picked the car up mid March 2025 from Simpsons in Colne and at the end of April, took our new car on a tour to Germany visiting the Nurburgring with my son in his Polo GTI. Car is great to drive, very comfortable and on the way back from the Nurburgring, we called in at Spa Francorchamps and then onto Rotterdam for our ferry back to Hull. Car was returning 64.9 mpg (2.0 TDI) with Polo GTI getting 52 mpg. Visited Luxembourg (enjoyed their cheaper diesel and bought Shell V Power diesel) Superb is definitely better than my previous car Karoq 1.5 Tsi. It's quieter handles better, easier to drive and more premium. Enjoy your new car 👍👍
  6. I have always preferred Michelin tyres, quality and performance of these tyres I have always found to be excellent. I was told many years ago by an independent tyre supplier that Michelin quality control is second to none and this guy supplied tyres to a number of motorcycle racing teams at the time. Michelin was also the first tyre manufacturer to supply radial tyres for motorcycles. My son had Bridgestone tyres on his VW Polo GTI, changed them to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and they are a vast improvement, both in terms of grip, road noise and feel on the road. I am looking to change mine to Michelin Cross Climate 2, again excellent reviews, I think it always better to pay a little more for quality.
  7. Upto the recent price hike of petrol, I always used Shell V Power. Now I use Tesco Momentum 99, as I believe that E10 is less efficient and the Momentum is more cost effective, even with the price difference. Don't trust the E10 fuel.
  8. After using E10 petrol in my Karoq, I noticed an immediate drop in fuel consumption and after reading various report in the general press, I believe other motorists are having the same issue. If you have petrol, that is only 90% petrol and 10% other liquids (ie ethanol) then logic dictates it will NOT perform the same. I have reverted back to Shell V Power and noticed an immediate improvement, I know it's more expensive, but it's a price worth paying for this type of quality fuel. I believe Esso also have a premium fuel, Esso Synergy 99+ , which contains no ethanol and is slightly cheaper than Shell V Power, not tried it yet, as no local Esso stations, but will give it a go. Has anyone tried this Esso fuel? And if so, their opinions-good, bad, no difference?
