[Mk1 Skoda Fabia vRS O2 sensor]

Hi guys and girls,

I'm having a slight problem with my 2006 Skoda Fabia vRS (80,000 miles). Unfortunately she's down on power at the moment and under acceleration there's a large amount of black smoke. I dont do too many miles but I think fuel consumption has also gone up.

Now I presume this may be down to a faulty Oxygen sensor. I may have this wrong but I'm sure it definitely has one of these sensors yes? I've just rang my local Skoda dealers parts department who told me this model does NOT have an oxygen sensor and so he couldn't get me a replacement. I am very much confused.

Obviously my next step will be to check the vehicle with a fault reader but I'm unable to do this at the moment.

If you could confirm about the O2 sensor and a possible part No. if it does exist then the info would be greatly appreciated
