-
i didnt have radio keys and the skoda place didnt have radio keys so i used a fork!, i bent one fork prong to 90 degrees and bingo it worked
-
how about an rs4 , either model age is good
-
dialynx performance where also the last time i checked
-
some genuine ch's here http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/374023.aspx
-
replica 19" what though? bbs lms or ch's?
-
but it does say if needed he does 8" set all round
-
better still go to bm autosport as the bmw forum rates the quality very highly
-
Surely that'd mess the speedo up ? ( a little bit anyway ... )
yeah different rolling radius's affect the actual speed you are driving to what the speedo says you are doing, the % is quite small though
-
i'm sure where there's a will there's a way
i must say im pretty confident too, either way good find thanks for linking it up
-
i have just bid on it, fingers crossed it can be returned to t3 fitment
-
yeah good idea for it but would need a turbo cradle imo, hence me just saying wack a t3 flange on it and get going! lol
-
good find, thats definatly different,i might bid on it and get a t3 flange welded on
-
-
not sure how viable it will be to relocate the master cylinder if need be, maybe there is an option that would mean that would not be needed, other than a custom tubular that is
-
well its worth a punt people are making huge power on them on many different marques, imo making more power with comparable spool to a the garrett equivilent is a winner.
yeah thats the manifold, i am eyeballing for me
-
just to clarify....what manni do these use,
and at £450 a pop.....why are we not using them?????
i honestly dont know why these are not more common than they are, maybe a scene thing that noone has progressed onto yet.
the manifold is up a few posts and is even haldex friendly failing that any t3 manifold 1.8t suitable would work.
the downside is there are so many options when ordering them many people dont actually know what they mean so stick with what everyone else use's.
the other downside is i cant dig up much info for vag aplications so not sure what to do about water and oil lines nor flanges/acctuators etc...
ill be looking into this alot as the pricing and the capablities of these turbos make them a winner
-
here is where you can get them for £450
the gsr hx30 is compareable to the gt28 rs and they recon its good for 500 hp, there is a drift car that runs 440hp and similar torque with minimal lag
-
well i have sent an email away to them to try to find out a little more and the link to the manifold above works with my 4x4 too so its looking promising to me.
what are you doing about oil/water lines then? pirtek to the rescue maybe
-
just looking at these turbos a little bit more now i have found where to get them cheap, do you know what flange is used for the downpipe GSR do not state that in the discription
-
this is good news as it dispells some of the myth that you need special flywheels for the SMF conversion, glad it works, now off to find out how strong the o2j box's are
-
Im doing it on a cheap budget, so whatever is the cheapest be it Fleabay/second hand is good 2me. I worked it out that its near enough the same build cost as the K04 set up
please do a build thread for this car!
-
Awesome, someone is finally trying a Holset in a Skoda!
What you doing for an exhaust manifold?
hmmmmm what indeed ? ? ? ?
lets get a power table going
in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
