You can fit the blank instead of the door lock, but then you are royally fudged if the remote stops working.

Adjusting Handbrake Tension
If you have rear drum brakes (which I imagine most Fabia MKIII models will) I would always strip, clean, and adjust the rear brakes rather than just wanging the cable up.

Some brands of tyre are more prone to this than others. But a good idea to get it booked in and have a four wheel alignment check done.

I would have thought so if it is a change of contract. And who is to say what is essential travel? You can travel to work, you can travel for food shopping, travel to see a child....

I can't see why a Scout would be any different, engine and transmission might make a difference but trim I very much doubt. Worth emailing Briskoda parts with the vehicle reg to make sure you get the correct parts.
