Retrofit Cruise Control Skoda Fabia mk2 2007 1.4L 16v Manual Transmission.
Just go straight to the engine ECU and the other is just an ignition live. You don’t need to worry about the nodes

Retrofit Cruise Control Skoda Fabia mk2 2007 1.4L 16v Manual Transmission.
Back in the day I used to buy the kit that included everything, even fitting instructions. now you have to be a bit clever, think laterally and you can make up a kit.

1 - Yes, that looks correct to me. 2 - they aren't terminals, they are a connection (node joint) inside the vehicle harness. 3 - Yes, I would presume so. I haven't made a loom myself for the MK2 before, I always bought them rather than mess around.

You will still need the wiring harness anyway.

Retrofit Cruise Control Skoda Fabia mk2 2007 1.4L 16v Manual Transmission.
Need to have a look up under the dash above the throttle pedal and see if the control unit (square black box) is labelled with a part number 6Q0 or 6Q1. Various switches are available, it's not a one fits all. Need to work it out off your chassis number. You can see the differences in the switches and why they are different. MK1 MK2

On the MK2 Fabia you need to install a wiring harness and run it through to the engine control unit. Also requires the correct central electrics control unit on the car to enable CC. ...and the switch you linked is for a MK1 not MK2. Cruise control would be £240 supplied and fitted.

Cruise control won’t turn on
I assume you have tried it when you are actually moving?

Techie's new runabout
2021 update OK, so slow progress for many reasons, but still tinkering with this one. Believe it of not, the engine is actually in the hole.. Fluids going in... Nice shiny mounts and solid shifter cable bushings.. Air intake and shield Interior back out as laying in the full Ibiza harness for total integration Kinda looking the part now. Cruise control (of course) Climatronic heating system in place and heated seat harness fitted One day it will be done, just don't ask me which one.

Radio Harness for Fabia HTP
The brown one is speakers, you only have 2x2 as you only have fronts.

Radio Harness for Fabia HTP
You shouldn’t need an adapter. The wiring harness with the headunit will connect directly to the ISO connections on your car.

Fan speed problem - where is the resistor?
The pen holder trim pops out with a plastic trim lever. You can then get to the three bolts that hold in the passenger airbag. Once that is removed the resistor can be replaced.

Would a new caliper O seal sort the problem of piston not winding back?
Been repairing Skodas for 25 years, not had a problem finding parts. Maybe that's just practise.
-
Bag in coolant.
You won't get airlocks as it's the highest point in the system and minimal coolant loss.

Would a new caliper O seal sort the problem of piston not winding back?
Personally I would have just gone for this over all the faffing about... 1 Pair of reconditioned calipers Warrantied and guaranteed to work. Car is back on the road, minimal fuss and safe.

Would a new caliper O seal sort the problem of piston not winding back?
That's perfectly normal. It's an M12 thread, but takes an M14 spline socket to fasten it. Most M8 bolts have a 13 mm hex head on the car, same diff.

Why do you need to change the brake pipes?

The engine management uses it for a few reasons, one of them being cruise control,

Fabia mk1 water leak. Headliner wet
What happens though is the water runs along the back of the headliner (as it is a board behind) and then exits as the join with the C-pillar trim.

Fabia mk1 water leak. Headliner wet
What's the aerial base like? Easiest way to diagnose it to remove the headliner, run a hose over the top and see where water is coming in.
