  1. interesting as the input is set in the coding of the cluster 🤔
  2. ABS converted from Bosch 5.7 to 8.0 heat protection for brake and clutch lines
  3. Bit of a mix, some are the same, some slightly different (but easy enough to re-pin). Headlamps is a good example, exatly the same plug but some of the wires are mixed up, lord knows why.
  4. SEAT wiring loom and ECU. The easiest way to do it is to build the Ibiza in the Fabia shell.
  5. Change the engine oil (and filter) too.
  6. Wiring harness is being swapped over with one I have remade deleting all the surplus waffle. Brake pipes are all still there, bagged the ABS unit for protection although I need to swap it over for the later type which I have upstairs. Mounting brackets to be refurbished of course.
  7. All new cars came with two keys. A Comfort spec car came with one remote key (non flip, two buttons) and one of these.
  8. A second Comfort spec key, looks right to me.
  9. Soooo here we go, it’s on. that’s Day 1 done. More fun tomorrow.
  10. The colour matches the adjacent trims that go down the side and the heater control trim.
  11. There is a chap on the Facebook Fabia VRS group who prints them.
  12. It isn’t. No factory speakers, no factory wiring.
  13. Fault code check, probably a weak ABS signal or a wandering wheel bearing.
  14. 1) Yeah, the key in the door... 2) Yes 3) About £90 the last time I ordered one from Skoda. 4) No, it's an assembled unit, just replaced them.
  15. Replacement door lock.
  16. You can fit the blank instead of the door lock, but then you are royally fudged if the remote stops working.
  17. You will need 310 discs (it does clarify that in the eBay listing) and the Audi A1 /S1 is 5x100. You can trust me on this one as I have them on my Fabia.
  18. I see, so the issue is not needing the manuals, more alack of understanding on how the manuals work. Then Wino's description above helps with that.
  19. Scala workshop manuals Knock yourself out.
  20. Surprising a 1.2 has ESP, guess that might be a Danish thing.
  21. If you have rear drum brakes (which I imagine most Fabia MKIII models will) I would always strip, clean, and adjust the rear brakes rather than just wanging the cable up.
