  1. Got these lying around, so hopefully someone has a use for them..... Thule aluminium Aerobars with 'T' track - Rapid System 861 (120cm) - £40 Thule Rapid System Footpack 754 - £40 Thule Rapid System Fitting Kit 1266 (Seat Ibiza 3/5 door 2002-08, Seat Cordoba 4dr 2003 - ) - £20 I know these deffo won't fit a Mk 1 Fabia, as I had to buy a complete new kit for mine. No probs with splitting these if needed. There's loads of bar / foot / fitting kit combinations, so here's the link to Thule's site http://www.thule.com/fitguide/default.aspx?Language=en&Market=GB The kit is all in good condition, couple of minor marks on the bars but nothing serious. Ideally buyer collects, but can't see a problem in posting at cost tbh....... Drop me a line if there's any questions or queries. Ta for looking....
  2. Put me down for the last wall one pls, if its still around.... Feel free to pass me the payment details. Ta
  3. Just taken this out of the van. Pioneer FH-P80BT double din head unit in excellent condition. Its a powerful 50Wx4 unit with integrated bluetooth, rear USB, and iPod compatible. The unit comes boxed with everything needed to fit, including separate bluetooth microphone, iPod cable, and remote control. I have used this in the Fabia, and must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the improvement in sound quality even through OE speakers!! The pics don't do justice to the condition of the unit, so apologies in advance as I'm no David Bailey.... I'm looking for £150 inc postage. Ta for looking. Greg
  4. Finally, a break in the weather so I can get some pics up!! I've taken the bonnet bra off (its in the wash as I type) and one of the mirror caps was loose so they're off too. Closer inspection during the de-coking has revealed a few marks. The front and rear bumpers will need a blow over as the paint has cracked and moisture has got under it. Its too wet to put the hoover over the rear floor, so apologies in advance. The spare is too big to mount underneath too.... The more eagle-eyed of you will notice the double-din head unit. This won't be sold with the van sorry. The power steering belt and adjuster have only just been replaced before Christmas, and I now suspect the ps pump may be the problem after driving her today. I will be getting this sorted as soon as. Overall I reckon she's a decent enough project van, or daily runner if you prefer. We did have big plans for her, but could do with the time and a sponsor to bank roll it!!! There are other odds and sods available as listed previously. An ideal scenario would be everything to go as a job lot. I appreciate that its not to everyones taste, and I have had enquiries about selling the bits on separately which I am seriously considering. Ta for looking. Greg
  5. Its a fair observation mate. I'm hopefully pitching to the winter project brigade!! Not too worried if there's no movement 'til spring tho..... :sun:
  6. Already there dude, and a few more besides.....
  7. Reluctantly we've decided to put our T5 up for sale. Its a 2006 Ex AA T30 1.9tdi (104bhp) in yellow, with tailgate, A/C, and rear parkings sensors. Currently nudging 118k miles. MOT'd until mid August 2013, Taxed until end July 2013. Used as a daily runner so the mileage will creep up slightly. We have owned the van since August 2010, and she was bought with 97k on the clock. I have managed to track the BT Fleet service history up to 78,302 miles. Full service after the van was bought included timing belt and water pump replacement. Subsequent services at 108,029 miles (8/11) and most recently 115,708 miles (9/12) with brake fluid change, replacement alternator and battery. I would say the overall condition is good. Bumpers and mirror housings have been colour coded. Could do with a touch up front and rear due to some inconsiderate parkers in our street. Running 17" steel wheels with 235/55/17 tyres. Rear floor has been plyed and carpeted. Its difficult to put a value on these vans, so after a bit of research I'm going to pitch offers around the £8k mark. We have other bits and bobs which I'm prepared to sell by separate negotiation including.... Full Van X bonnet bra in black; Animal seat covers (single and double); Chrome side bars; Chrome mirror caps; 2 x genuine VW rear sliding windows; H&R -40mm lowering springs; Pioneer double din headunit. All I need now is some decent Welsh weather so I can take some snaps to put up.... Feel free to drop me a line if interested. Ta for looking Greg
  8. I've had the high idling issue on mine. Managed to get hold of a second hand throttle pedal and all cured! Bit of a faff to fit, but deffo something you could do yourself..........
  9. Sadly not mate. Funnily enough, a friend of mine has just picked up an old '99 T plate Golf GTI, and the mirror covers are the same shape!! Yellow and blue, could be an interesting mix fella......
  10. What colour you after?? Got a pair of SE ones in blue....
  11. This may or may not apply, but at least you've got a heads up on it. The Pioneer harness for the rear of the unit may have two wires (red & yellow) separated by male / female bullet connectors. You shouldn't need an adaptor harness between the car and unit wiring, but the connections for these two coloured wires need to be swopped around, ie red to yellow / yellow to red. I had to call in some help of the forum when I fitted mine. Sounds daunting, but its a super quick fix. I'll see if I can find the posting I put up and the responses..... ........found it!! http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/251154-fitting-a-pioneer-dd-hu-in-fabia-1-vrs/ Hope this helps.
  12. I've got one of these units in my van, and I reckon its a tidy piece of kit. Can't comment on your iphone compatibility, but the unit I have has front USB and SD ports. Shouldn't be too difficult to fit either. I've recently put a Pioneer double din unit in the Fabia, and apart from the red / yellow wire swop over on the unit harness it was straightforward enough. There's not a fantastic amount of space behind the unit for the car and unit harness, aerial and BT mic, so you may need some subtle trimming. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised at the difference in sound quality from the unit, even if your running standard speakers! I'm assuming the trim piece you refer to is the small dash piece for the top of the unit?? The part no is 6Y0 857 231 B41, and its only a couple of quid from the dealer. Tidy!! Happy days dude........
  13. Need these gone, open to sensible offers.....
  14. ***NOW SOLD*** Just removed the original alloys off the Furby, and considering letting them go. The are in good enough condition, some slight kerbing / marks but nothing major. If you were super fussy, they could benefit from a refurb. Theres no tyres on these, and I haven't put any pics up yet as they need a clean.... Gauging interest at the mo, but would be looking for £100 for them. Might consider some 16" steelies in p/x, dependant on what you've got..... G
  15. Dude, if I'd seen this before purchasing one of fleabay I'd have deffo taken it off your hands....... Have a free bump on me, and GLWS.
  16. Still got these - sensible offers welcomed.....
  17. Good job fella!! Bit of a mare to fit, but got there in the end...... Cheers for the heads up mate, much appreciated.
  18. Good call bud! I'm assuming the red / yellow swap is in the Pioneer harness?? Senior moment.......lmfao....
  19. Got hold of a resonably priced Pioneer double din HU from fleabay, and finally getting around to fitting it. Am I missing something, or have I purchased a lemon??? My previous Kenwood unit was a straightforward plug 'n play jobbie. Hooked this bad boy up and there's nowt happening!! Are we talking additional adapter harness, possible wiring swops, or worst case scenario have I been diddled......????? :wonder: I've done a bit of digging on here and t'internet and nothing really explains it. The HU is an FH-P80BT and its hopefully going into the Furby. Any hints, tips or tricks would be welcomed as always. cheers G
  20. Weekend bump...... Sensible offers welcomed.......
  21. For a fellow Taff, you can have them for £40...... Total bargain, come and get 'em...... G
