Is the DGTE engine fitted now or is there a newer version?

so fair to say the 1.6 diesel engines must be available for production lines? is the DGTE code engine used in current production or has it been superseded? is any later code compatible?

Are Skoda making IC cars at all now?

Spoke to a car dealer who told me Skoda assembled 1.6 diesel engines have a 20% failure rate And its a known problem

No sticker anywhere

2019 68 plate january 2019 1.6 diesel 7 speed dsg auto

I cannot find my paint code, i have no service book and no sticker in the spare wheel well Its a metallic mid blue

Occy came with just a puncture sealant spray kit so before my Passat left id swapped its 17" space saver over with the jack/kit/etc but............wheel is 17" so, do i need a proper occy space saver or, will a proper 16" allot fit in the boot recess?

can i get skoda front sensors added?

which would be the best/right jack?

its my lads 68 plate 1 owner ex-PCP, skoda offered a very poor PX so hes gone to F**d for a K**a FDSH, im paying what skoda offered him less mates rates...lol

Well after 6 months with a 2017 plate Passat SE business 1.6 manual it looks like tomorrow ill be back in a SHHHkoda A 68 plate hatchback 1.6 DSG Fewer toys (rear sensors but no fronts) can i fit front sensors? whats my Mk3 wheel PCD as I only have a foam kit cheers

and same again, 75 miles no issues maybe the diesel cleaner has wooshed it or... maybe she knows in buying a Passat

did the afternoon school run, 72 miles, no issue

drove 15 miles this morning Torque shows EGR is operating normally

P.S.............Cars pulling like a freight train

In November, after a week off, returning from txi school drop, we go into limp, RAC scan, injector failed £560 inc vat/fitting Today after another week off.... EML comes on, no limpy this time scanned with my BT dongle P0401 ........... anyway, with Torque i scanned and cleared the fault, went into town, bought some magic elixir from Halfords and some spray EGR cleaner and a new air filter (old one wasnt very old though) drove it 16 miles at some pace and no EML

I tried all that, the normal steering lock release but she wasnt having any of it.. lets hope its just a hiccup

Well, worrying at least Cleaning the interior of the car i was wiping down the dash/dials/steering bits when i lowered the steering wheel to access hidden dust, then the column and wheel locked up and the key wouldnt turn in the ignition lock never had this before i locked the car, unlocked then pushed it a few feet in neutral, the key went in the barrel, and all was back to normal
