- Kodiaq petrol.... Cambelts
Agreed, 100k/4 years absolute max- Kodiaq petrol.... Cambelts
Looking at petrol kodiaq, skoda tells me the CAMBELT is not a service item Are they belts or chains and surely belts need changing?- Considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG - anything to be aware of?
the combination of stop/start/dsg and 3 cylinders make it exciting to pull away and not in a good way- Considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG - anything to be aware of?
I would strongly suggest you try other engine/gearbox combinations, other models/makes within budget- Considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG - anything to be aware of?
1ltr petrol dsg is sluggish- Considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG - anything to be aware of?
Smallest ive had, 1 child seat seems to fill it Mondeo Superb (3) Etate (1) Octavia Karoq Epica Passat (4)- Considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG - anything to be aware of?
hire one for a week... you may change your mind and the boots tiny- Lane assist is dangerous
how do i do that?- Lane assist is dangerous
Agreed, worse thing ive come across apart from crossply tyres...- From Karoq to Kamiq....
Had a 1.5 petrol 150bhp manual Karoq R-line for 5 months, took some getting used to, grip in the wet/snow awful but it went well, did 46mpg (urban mainly) .... Got to 10,000 miles and got told to swap cars, got a brand new Kamiq Monte Carlo 1ltr petrol DSG with 30 miles on the clock, god what a difference...not in a good way having to stick shift it to get it to pull from a standstill, then use "S" on auto.... and rag it to move well and avoid other cars the box is the worst ive come across, slow to kick down (when im in D), thought i was going to die joining a rounabout with cars to avoid... driver lane correction refuses to go away (or i get it off with warning lights) automatic central locking wont go away/cant delete it rear sensor only, no front sensors (is this a budget trim?) Getting 40mpg so whoever thought it may cost less to run should have his/her abacus taken off him/her/them..... it might win on a 200 mile motorway cruise but all my miles are on the urban school run banger race circuit- To DSG or not DSG, that is the question
I stated the fact Ive driven loads of autos, from a Rover P5 to a E250 merc, the gearbox on mine, whichever it was, was crap- To DSG or not DSG, that is the question
The 2019 68 plate octavia dsg exploded at 40,000 miles, skoda fitted new engine FOC To be honest the car drove awful, and the gear box was a right POS, slow late soggy changes I got it back from Skoda, next time it moved was onto a Cazoo transporter I made £1400 on it but it was the worst 3 weeks of my car owning life Ford or MB for me now- Digital service record
I've invoices for services but no service book, how do I access the online record?- Engine failure
*Note to younger members (i.e. anyone under 40 years old) We didnt need laptops either- Engine failure
Injected was the MG Efi. I'm sure that was a different engine, im certain the MG turbo had 1 SU carb Any more would have made your eyes bleed on full chat Pity the brakes weren't as good I believe for a while the MG turbo Maestro was the quickest factory production 4 door The Tickford body kit was nice Rarer than hens teeth now- Engine failure
Well it was factory built Might be loads like it As for the Montego... Hairy and a Licence loser for sure The MG Maestro turbo was pure lunacy- Engine failure
Also had a MG Montego Turbo Flying machine- Engine failure
I had a 2300cv viva (not magnum) Basically a VX 4/90 engine and box shoehorned into a HC viva, Vauxhalls answer to hot fords, looked standard except for RoStyle wheels No room to work around engine and box- Road noise
my 68 plate 1.6 diesel is far noiser and harsher on the road than my previous Superbs and Passat, like tyre pressures are 60psi...(they arent) though ive new Dunlops on the front...?- New car day!
I recall when white was a non-seller for dealers............... (white id the only no cost paint on a Tesla)- Engine failure
I only recall a removeable panel in the bellhousing, cheap clips didnt work, i borrowed some sykes pickavant and it took under an hour- Engine failure
Or Bang n £6000 No bang no £6000- To DSG or not DSG, that is the question
Not keen 7 speed DSG changes up early causing engine to labour unless I use the stick shift Its stop start cuts the engine whilst car is still moving - Kodiaq petrol.... Cambelts
