so ive got the file on SD, unit wont read it, ive 2 SD slots, also tried it off a USB stick, still no go

MIB1 loses stations, cant tune in... stays powered up, FM/DAB not working and tries to start media off card (not present..) any ideas?

well my window regulator broke in December Skoda had none/nil/nacht/SFA for ...estimated 3 months Off Ebay i ended with THREE (dont ask) for total of £55 local garage fitted on for £90 lasted a month then the glass parted company with the regulator..............back to the garage a "grommet" had broken, they glued it together and it worked (cost me £30) However, with it looking like im keeping the car now for 12 or 18 months im having a Skoda regulator fitted at Skoda, hopefully getting 2 years warranty might cost £300 (if the mysterious "grommet" doesnt feck it up.. cant id it off the VW parts list pages

My lad bought a 2016 B8 passat (boooo, hissssss), his radio keeps losing all its presets, sometimes starts up on the SD card - present or not - wont play SD card, cant tune chanels in... can Vagcom update its software (VW want £90 to diagnose) its FM/DAB but no satnav cheers

I think modern cars, especially diesels, can have us all over Sons mate has a Passat, the ECU failed, £2000 later it ran but the S/S wouldnt start, the dealers blamed the aftermarket tow bar electrics, so the installer visited VW (FOC) and installed the electrics to the new ECU, still no S/S.......... VW Germany tech connected to the car, couldnt find anything so VW had the car transported to Germany where it still sits.... its a 2011 Passat, owner has a new VW Tiguan courtesy car so isnt shouting the odds too much

Had a cheap chinese regulator fitted a month ago, last week it failed Today the garage had the car and a spare cheap chinese regulator but it turns out the CCR wasnt at fault, rather a "roll pin in a roll pin" (as the mechanic described it) had failed He took the advice of the VAG specialist in the next unit and glued the failed item and refitted it........... On looking this thing could be a "dowel" or "straddle pin" or a plastikboltzen fensterheber maybe this?

No, not me (although...) Im finding the plastic top (where the tube meets the stick) is getting tighter plus i hate the bottome plastic bit with all the grooves on it is there an old fashioned flat metal dipper alternative (like dipsticks used to be)?

only want it for our 2 cars but they might change and Ross tech charge that anyway
