Yes should be fine the abs ring should fit on the rear disk hub. The abs mastercylinder is the biggest available so shoukd be up to the job.

The fact the odo and clock go off suggests the battery is dead tbh.
I would try it with some decent jump leads first before condemning anything else.

OK yes it can be done. you need the alloy end housing and 2 gaskets to seal the stat in to the plastic housing. Done it a few times to keep customers on the road

pretty sure they dropped the gaitor in 96 and went to a flush fitting seal instead, the gaitor was made from a rubber that was not oil resistant and swelled up when it got oily lol.
I don't think I have ever seen a felly box that didn't have oil around the change rod, even after new seals etc so don't be too upset if it leaks again in a few months time, sometimes the shaft gets worn where the rollpin connects the linkage to it as well, an 8mm shank bolt thru there and tightened up will cure the play there.
