  1. Im gonna change the badge because up close it looks a bit cheap but yeah some guy on ebay makes them for a 5er and just stuck it on
  2. 17"x8" calibre vintage et35 £450 vs £2500+ for actual bbs lms (which are the only 3 pc i can get in the right size) was a no brainer Especially when i drive to work every day
  3. was just playing around with that instagram app and thought id post a couple of pictures up of my new wheels. I love how just changing a filter can make my dirty dull car look shiny lol.
  4. Ive got a set of white wheels at the minute and some bbs rs rip offs so Cant have another set of white wheels. But not sure if i want a set of those for the track in black or gold
  5. I was going to buy those quite interested some gold versions of them though not sure if they would match a green car that well Ps liking the fogs great minds think alike lol
  6. Ive lowered mine around 70mm at the minute whilst my summer wheels are on and theres still loads of room before the roll bar will hit anything. Also im not sure if all coilovers have them but my weitecs and kws have brackets that extend upward to near what standard height would be
  7. The hubs arent that flexible and could snap if you spread them too much. But other than spreading it more with a larger chisel etc i cant say. Have u got any pictures?
  8. I used a chisel or a screwdriver. you shouldnt need to widen it too much though
  9. Im not sure but i beleive you will need new hubs to fit the vrs brakes as the carriers are part of the hub on lower spec/powered models. I know i couldnt fit them to my 1.4 polo
  10. Hi im looking at changing the wing mirrors over to those of a 6r polo. 1st of all how do i need to take the whole door card and how. Secondly will i be able code in the indicators on the 6r mirrors to work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I bought some castrol oil and a oem oil filter cost me £42 and 30minutes of my time. I got a friend to stamp my book though
  12. Renaultsport didnt spend all that time developing the carr for no reason. But it must have cost a fortune as its clearly massively different to a normal clio just look at the difference in the arches and track. Why cant vw invest a little more in there hot hatches?
  13. Id like to hear from sy or another track man as im sure they have come across a few and especially after sy gets his coils and brakes done that thing should monster quite a lot of things on track
  14. Yes is all im going to say on that matter lol
  15. I agree fabia ibiza and polo all feel a little disconnected from the road. And the brakes really need upgrading to match the clio's brembos but how often is anyone in a race with another car it can be dangerous and pointless on the road i love my car as it is and will probably just get bigger brakes and a remap and be done with it. The only place an extra 10th of a second matters is on the track.
  16. These were the basic v1 street comfort kit and i found it more comfortable as it didnt roll around so much it was by no means luxurious and over big bumps it was very stiff but miles better than any other kit ive driven for balance. My weitecs handle the same but are crashy over rough surfaces in my eyes having said that the kws were on a polo 6r and the weitecs are on my fabia so may not be a 100% fair comparison
  17. Ive kept up with a clio in the bends no problem and left a few mine has coils on it and a rarb so handles pretty well. Ive even found mine is faster top end on the motorway. But i have a forge intercooler + intake and jetex catback (193 bhp) aparantly. I would love a clio as a second car though just need somewhere to put it.
  18. I had kw v1 coilovers on my polo 6r and could not believe how comfortable they were i only wish id have spent the extra on them for my fab. It was actually better than standard in every way but they did cost £700+
  19. Ideally i would like an s2000 bonnet and carbon front wings be that would be a biatch to make and very expensive and i would ruin a splitter with how low my car is so il avoid that lol
  20. The reason i suggest a low price for engine cover is because tooling costs will be offset by the amount of people who would buy it and also the rubbers can be transfered from original item just to be clear. Also forge do a 1.8 t cover for the same price
  21. RockyVRS - Mirrors, Rear valance, front splitter Duffman502- engine cover £150 maybe more Stereo surround £50 max- vent surrounds(like on a greenline etc) £50 to £100
  22. ive driven a mk4 golf with jom coils on and whilst it wasnt massively uncomfortable the car did only have 16s on with quite big tyres low profiles may be an issue. the kit did feel very cheap though with a lot of sharp unfinished edges. He has had them on for a while now with only one slight issue being one of the rear springs jumped off the adjuster somehow. It did handle better but compared to 120k mileage suspension anything would be better
  23. +1 for dpm performance got all my suspension from them even haggled and got £50 off extra with my weitecs
  24. Loads weitec kw h&r bilstein, fk, ap depends how much you want to pay and whether you actually need coilovers
  25. Id be willing to bet these may work out cheaper after postage than those bt parts there pretty pricey
