rSAP stands for Remote Sim Access Protocol. This means, the phone is NOT used as a "phone" - the sim card details are read, and the car becomes the phone..Therefore, the "car" has no need for 4gText messages are only on the Sim, as that's all that is accessedAnd yes, no data to phone when connected, as it is not connected to any network. - it's shut-down as a phone.Hope this helps!Al.

Changed 2010 Superb Elegance 170 4x4 to 2013 Yeti 170 L&K for dad earlier this year - with Admiral insurance.
They changed it within minutes and had no charges to make this change to the policy! - Happy!

you local dealer is 80 miles away?! - It doesn't have to be your supplying dealer...
Yes - Take it back - had a bumper re-sprayed on my Superb because it peeled!

would have thought that 225bph (almost 30% increase) from the 170 engine just by plugging in a box, is more than unachievable.

are there any other cars in your household? - We have a Multi-Car policey and it does make a saving. - around £80-100 per car. - Currently insuring a 2012 E250 CDi AMG Estate with 18k miles, business cover, 3 drivers and protected NCB for circa £475 (Comes in at around £1100 for Dad's L&K 170 Yeti (3 drivers) wife's Cee'd (3 Drivers and business) and my Merc)

i would have thought that sub 8 seconds with 200 bhp was achievable - it's 7.5 ish for my E 250 cdi with 204 bhp and a 7 speed auto box...
Al.
ps. Doubt the DSG box, that aint designed for additional power, will last too long tho... I've personally never re-mapped a car - don't see the point; the 170 engine is great!

We've extended the warranty on our 3 year old Superb 170 4x4 - £399 for 2 years, with CarCarePlan (ie. genuine Skoda warranty, issued through main dealer)

Yes, the flue pipe leaving the stove is 6" (internal) and "can" go straight up (in our case) in "Single wall" but MUST change to twin-wall (8" external, with insulation) 12" before the ceiling and pass through a fire-stop. - Our stove is a morso 6148 - We have 2 black sections for inside, and then goes into Stainless for outside.
We thought that the jump, from stove pipe, to twin wall, up there, 12" from the ceiling looks pants, so started ours off with a small adaptor and straight into the twin-wall. (Stove pipe is much cheaper than twin-wall)
We have two stoves here, in our house, and one is dad's "flat" - His, exits to the rear as it's on an outside wall, and then goes up. - He's got a morso too, but his is an S10 (wall hung)
Both are DEFRA approved as we are in a Smokeless zone - and we've even been dobbed-in by the neighbour! - and had environmental health out - who Loved our stove too! ha ha! - If you are in a smokeless zone, then you must have DEFRA approval or burn smokeless fuel - if you are DEFRA and your neighbour complains, like ours, there's nothing he can do about it - Smoke can be made for 30mins every time it's lit and 20mins every time it's refuelled. (altho ours smokes a little for about 5 mins when 1st lit, and nothing when refuelling) - Watch out, some multi-fuels are only DEFRA on one Fuel.
If you want any info, just let me know.
Al.
ps. Forgot to say - we don't have any Chimneys to use in the house - so had to use new flue's.

£14 EACH!
No, £13.75 - much better deal!
-
so for the Stanley one, you're looking at £1250 - and for the Morso we have, around £1800. - for the time it's going to be installed, we didn't mind the extra.

1 "could" also go straight ahead to point, erm, C, we'll call it.... 2 should never (unless indicated by road markings) go right.
2 = 1st and 2nd exit
1 = 2nd, 3rd, or back on yourself.

if you are ever in the north east, you are welcome to try our Lintran box in - fits well in estate, with space to spare and suits our German Shepherd well.

There's no stove for £500 inc the Flue tho... TwinWall (Which, is has to be if your going straight up) - Must change 12" before ceiling - Is irk £100 / meter - you need a Minimum of 4meters to comply - then there's the obligatory FireStop, cowel needed - you'll be spending a minimum of £750 on the most basic of flues... so why not spend a we' bit extra on a decent, efficient stove that'll last the time...?

Had a problem with our last B&S mower - changed to a Honda Powered mower last year - It's silky smooth and doesn't struggle as much as the B&S - that being said, it was twice the price!
Al.
-
I must admit it looks the business; can I ask how much it cost??
Thanks
And not a problem for price...
£2200 for Stove, 5 meters of Flue (inc powder coating - it's 8" TwinWall) adjustable sections, Flashing, firestop, etc. (Around £1200 of this is the stove!)
£500 for custom made hearth (made from silestone Composite stone - black with sparkly bits!) it's what the wife wanted (requirement for install but could just be a concrete flag stone)
£300 for split-face mosaic tiles for wall (installed by me - but not a required item)
£150 for a "HEATAS" approved installer - we're in SmokeLess zone so needs to be "registered" with council.
£60 for roofer to install flashing.
Total iro - £3210 (take off £700 for Hearth and wall if not needed)
Not cheap, i know. but we do have a huge supply of wood, and haven't had the heating on since it's been installed in March! - It's positioned right in the centre of our home.
Hope this helps!

We don't have alot of 3 lane motorway here in the North East, but there's a section passing the Washington Services, where the inside lane is empty. - I can't stand it!
the 3 lans are also created by a slip-road joining it, and making it's own lane - they amount of people that pull straight out and sit in the middle is horrendous!
Here's a link to a video from last year...

we've put Ikea's 4w LED's in my office and outside in 8x Up/Down lighters - Colour is Lovely. (£4 ea)
we've got 29 1w LED's in the new sitting room - to use as background and they look fab. (£5.50 ea inc fitting and trim - B&Q - Good value!)
we intended (and bought) 30 9w Cree Dimmable LED's for the sitting room, but the colour is not to my taste - a bit too industrial. (£100 for 30 from a local eBay'er)

Almost bought an XC70 earlier this year as there was some crazy offers on... it was all going well, price, spec, size, quality... until i drove it... almost fell asleep awaiting the gearbox to change! - It was a D5 SELux. Yawn!
The engine (new, 240 bhp D5) connected to their 6-speed GearTronic box, was terrible, even when foot hard on the floor, it was unsatisfactory... Maybe something wrong, but dealer who came on the test drive with me thought it was FAB!
That was the end of the road for me and a Volvo... tried Audi's but A4 too small and A6 too pricey, Hyundai SantaFe was an option for a while, but dealer put me off... so went and bought an E250 CDi Estate.. much better engine and box (IMHO)
