hehe...i had an orange 105, an orange 130 gl ex rally car( used to do lombard rally many moons ago)..a black rapid..followed by 3 fav's inc a great estate that towed caravans all over the uk,,finally a new first release red felicia that failed spectacular withing months of buying( garage went bust and i was left with it).....so fingers crossed the yeti is like my first 6 skoda's....

i had many a skoda back in the 80's/90's...loved em...then bought a felicia when vw first got involved....worst car i had, always let me down...havnt had a skoda since, but a yeti test drive blew me away..so as of next weds im back in skoda ownership and cant wait....miss my rear engined estelle's and rapids :yes:

ive just gone 16 weeks waiting for my yeti if that helps....pick it up next weds..ordered april 1st...and factory shutdown july 5th for 3 weeks

my local road too...great in a car' done it loads in bad snow!!....not as much fun on a motorbike tho'..all my biker m8's hate it ,if i take em that way lol..looking forward to getting my yeti next week to sample it

great choice in the yeti....like you i considered the ix, quasqai etc etc....one test drive in a yeti blew me away, i pick up my platin grey 1.2 tsi next weds and can wait....16 weeks has dragged...but this forum has helped loads....welcome to the yetifarm

my focus is peppered all along the sills...its all down to the roads now, most round here are broken up and loose, as well as crater size potholes.. .nowadays theres a roaring trade in paint chip /windscreen/suspension/tyre firms....90% of this is down to the current state of our roads..ive changed my driving accordingley and now drive like a snail, keeping extra distance from the vehicle in front...hopefully my sm will benefit from this :yes:

also dont forget that the 1.2 tsi can be boosted to 140 bhp and loads more torque :p .....certainly something on my list

i tend to drop back from the car in front now, due to the roads current state'...my focus is the first car in many years that i havnt had to replace the screen due to dropping back more

apart from the fantastic drive..i reckon the front and back of the yeti is great in looks ...love the big fogs'

well no more news, dealer expects an update on monday...its somewhere from emden to here...probs still sat waiting for a boat, but was signed onto a boat last monday...so who knows'...either way im on the last leg now''cant wait, in 16 weeks ive read 4,396 posts...watched 748 yeti related video's..( downloaded them onto my ipod)...gone yeti spotting....so yeah i can say im desperate to get my beast
