u need to track all ships leaving emden with the name ending in HIGHWAY...like wesser highway etc etc...those ships carry the monsters over...do a search and u will find many posts with links, inc those from me

as has already been said, this is more common than u realise,...quite a few on here have probably got a car that has had a slight bump scratch dealt with before handover without knowing...my late father often told me of new cars he sold that had been in the bodyshop straight off the transporter apparently it is a common occurance in most dealers

news to me and ive been driving since 1901 lol....summat u learn everyday, my last car a focus had ambient lighting but it certainly was as obvious at night as the 2 white lights as mentioned at the start' ...as for rally stages then yeah thats obvious they need to READ A MAP!.....so sorry if anyone thinks im talking rubbish...its something ive been led to believe is true since been a child and thats many many years ago

ok u turn your interior courtesy light on and proceed to drive around at night, i can assure you , it is an offence....as for turning them down i cant do( S model),,so no reowhatsitname :no:

interior lights are illegal tho...and these do shine quite bright esp where i live in the darkest depths of yorkshire( no street lighting)...

i wondered this myself.....seems a little silly having them on at night, as they do shine quite bright..and light up the gearknob/ your legs etc, i did wonder if there actually legal here in the uk( i guess not)

dont worry m8 weve all done it lol.....as i say i spent weeks watching all the ships ending in HIGHWAY; as there the ones that bring the beasts over :yes: ....when u get to the point of sitting at grimsby docks with a notebook and pen, binoculars and flask'...let me know cos u can join my club lol , seems such along time ago now that i was just like you, now on 3500 miles'

now the colder wet weather is here, im really missing the heated screen option'...my S yeti's heating system doesnt seem to keep steamy windows at bay easy esp the screen' ..i know AC would clear it but i like high mpg lol

bar humbug...that's the only thing im missing off my previous cars...was a fantastic thing to have esp in our climate'....gonna be a long winter methinks :S

congrat's..remember that day well, start checking out sailings from emden...most skoda's are brought over on ISSAR' ships ie ISSAR HIGHWAY' etc....i spent 24/7 watching the buggars lol ..just think 3 weeks and u might be finally in the CLUB

i reg drive my 1.2 yeti with 5 adults..and a full boot....no problems with power, and i live an extremely hilly remote part of yorkshire....cant see u having any issues with a 1.4
