  1. Sorry, haven't been here for 7 years. Link is working, but file is also attached. Don't know if it's still working ... but try out, it can't harm. setup.zip
  2. Found out that my 'new' Bolero supports *.wpl-playlists (new Windows Media Player standard ... XML-like style). And it seems that the limit for recognized content on SD-cards is 8GB ... :S
  3. Well, I got my new car with Bolero and sound system ... The firmware of the Bolero must have been updated: ... now it reads deeper than 8 levels ... it doesn't recognize playlists (*.m3u) ... it's only slow when reading the card initially, and not when changing songs ... apparently it has some limitations regarding number of folders or songs. My full 32 GB is only partially recognized :'(
  4. No, but I think in the next version, I'll make it capable to automatically check for new versions ... It's not a good idea to rename the download link every time ...
  5. Version 5 of the 'bolero_sd_organizer'-application is ready now at: http://www.lfsv.dk/diverse/setup.zip (remember to uninstall the old version) I've added some rather useful features (with my own intended use in mind ...), and I think this is close to the final version, unless some of you come up with really brillant ideas. I'll of course try to correct errors, should there be anyone - actually I haven't been able able to test it on my own Bolero yet
  6. I hope my car (including Bolero  ) will arrive in a month or so. After a vacation trip to France I'll maybe work the application over a bit. By the way, there's now a version 4 (still the old link), with some improvements regarding custom playlists - much faster now ...
  7. How about SD cards - are the slow cards (3MB/s) working OK on the Bolero?
  8. Just tested ... seems to be OK ... but it could be a caching problem on my server or your browser ... try a little later
  9. You're totally right. It IS ridiculous we have to do these workarounds. The code should be in order from the factory ...
  10. I understand your confusion. Now It should be OK. Link the same as before, and in the zip file a small txt-document shows the version ... Download from http://www.lfsv.dk/diverse/setup.zip
  11. It is in fact NOT a new version, but I'll remember the versioning next time ... EDIT: Now it should be the correct version ... finally
  12. Version 3 is now ready - it can make custom playlists ...
  13. No idea what's wrong. It should work if you follow the exact instructions ... can't test on the bolero, but the playlists on my sd card are understood well by windows media player and played as they should ...
  14. Nice to know it seems to work for you on Win7 ... but does it also work in the actual Bolero? At some time in the future I may add support for nesting in two levels and maybe something like 'Favourite playlist'-stuff. I will put a message in this thread if I succeed ...
  15. I've tested on XP, not on W7. Why it doesn't work for you, I don't know. Try to uninstall, and install the new version. When you write 'stopped working', do you mean 'app does not start' or 'app doesn't do what supposed to do ...'? I only support a flat structure in this version because nested structures could be difficult to parse. And I have to be sure, that all the music files are found. What I'm thinking of for a later version, is to allow an artist/album/file.mp3 structure, but not more ... But I'm convinced that you can structure the playlists without any problems: genre/artist/album/playlist.m3u, for example (but don't touch the music files moved deep down). As I've mentioned before: don't have a Bolero - so I can't test - but it will arrive soon with my new car I have tested on a SD-card, and the app does what it should ...
  16. Here is version 2 of my little organizer for Bolero SD-cards. The first version worked, but not completely foolproof - no pun intended But please follow the instructions: Copy music folders to some empty folder or to the root of an empty SD-card. These music folders should not have subfolders - this version can't (later versions maybe will) handle it. Run my application (point to the folder or SD-card). The structure is ready for use - playlists are made, and the music folders are moved to the right place (don't touch them!!!!) The playlist files can be reorganized, but don't touch what's inside ... Included is a 'mix'-playlist with music from all folders. And remember to put one mp3/wma-file where the playlists are (in the root) You can still download from http://www.lfsv.dk/diverse/setup.zip Have you installed before, then please uninstall the old version, before installing the new ...
  17. Exactly what's described in post #1 ... but try it out ... It's limitation is (by now) that your music folders must exist in the root of the SD card and be flat (e.g. no subfolders). Moving the folders to /1/2/3/4... and writing the playlists takes few seconds, and after that you can structure the playlists in subfolders as much as you like ... But remember to put at least one .mp3 or .wma in the root of the card. When I get my own Octavia/Bolero, I'll probably refine the application a bit ...
  18. Playlist Creator is fine, but for this particular bolero problem, my application is much easier and a lot faster ...
  19. It won't run on 64bit, and on Vista/W7 you might have to run as administrator ...
  20. As I soon will be the owner of a Skoda Octavia with Bolero unit, I thought I'd just make a playlist script for windows. Download zip-file from http://www.lfsv.dk/diverse/setup.zip . Unpack and run setup.exe. You have to add at least one track in the root of the sd-card. Please let me know if it works on the bolero. Greetings from Denmark ...
