I just ran it to the fuse box and put it in a spare switched live, in the end. The stereo is powered all the time it's the can bus that tells it to come on! Mine didn't appear to have a remote or accessory wire.

Guys, is there a remote wire on the Octavia II FL? I have put an amp in using the RNS510, I bought one that was supposed to recognize the high input in the speaker wires and use that as a remote. That doesn't work. I don't really want to use a switched live as Ill have to have the keys in for music, surely there is a trigger coming from the RNS510? I don't have a volt meter handy for the next couple of days so was hoping someone might give me an idea. Cheers in advance chaps.

I've got a switch you can have to try it out, it's vw so it's got red led's but may as well see if it works as they aren't a cheap item from skoda

Are all the walls stud work Your replacing the doors in? have a look at replacing linings with a more conventional size

Just seen where your from, it'll be easier for you to pick one up from the German ebay I would think, as above just ebay the part number, I found the genuine aerial gave better reception than my phone used to get.

I have the aerial for sale if you want on, I used it for rasp myself before converting to DAB

I've just upgraded the fronts to rockford fosgate tweeters and speakers, the sound is much improved, and used the opportunity to sound proof the doors

I've used it on a pug, as above it give basic fault codes

I've just done it, you'll need New windscreen Mirror Rainlight sensor Loom Trim New headlight switch That's about it, and to code it in aswell

Evening guys, Hopefully someone can help, im currently fitting (trying to) auto dim and rain sensing wipers to the Octavia, I have it all wired bar the CECM as I cant find the pinout / locations anywhere! Its the highline 1K0 937 087Q with three connectors on the top so I just need the wiring diagram for it. Tis is worth many virtual hugs if someone can give me it! Cheers in advance Dave

New base needed! if the threaded section is missing there will be no conection even if you get the aerial to hold.
