Ah thanks. Reviews mentioned snow foam and thought it was too good to be true. I expect the lance will cost almost as much as the washer.. May still go for this PW though as seems a good price and will keep the missus happy when I clean the path tiles... Lol

So the foam applicator they refer to is a snow foam lance? If so I'll be grabbing one of these...

So you just did the chrome surround with a spray can of plastidip, and then can revert it to standard by peeling it off later if you wanted? Tempted to see if they do a white to match my Candy vRS.. Not sure a matt finish would look good with gloss black wheels and roof.

Looks great - I have badges on order from CZ along with another forum member so they'll be going on my candy white vRS when they arrive too mines not a blackline but I'll have the black wheels by the end of the month too (hopefully).

And as I found out - the diesel manual, although covers up to 2012, does not cover vRS or scout. But a lot of details are still relevant.

I have side blinds that just clip in place. Also have a rear blind but tbh I never use it, it's a bit too dark for me and prefer to see what's behind me.

What colour are those alloys mate? Looks good

Spot on mate - I had a platinum grey Leon Cupra (modified) and then moved on to a twin turbo supra before coming back to an Ibiza which I've had since. VRS arrived just over 1.5weeks ago now, and so far very happy hope you are well mate?

Thanks. Expected this was the case, and was concerned about pressure washer/strong hose and water ingress. The grooves are there to channel rain water, so still concerned that over time the wrap may lift.

What do they do with the edge of the material once installed? Front and back of the roof I understand is wrapped around by the window, but what about the sides? Is it possible for water to get underneath, or even catch the edge with a fingernail and potentially damage the wrap?

I have one of the Kinivo units now and am very impressed - works great! Just one thing they forgot; and that's a power switch. Means I have to keep disconnecting the adapter as don't want to run the battery flat.

I couldn't find the badges on there either, but perhaps you can just give them the part numbers?

Hey folks, Well, I've been lurking on here since the days of joint SCN/SCC and Briskoda southern meets on Portsdown Hill in Portsmouth, but I've now joined the Skoda community properly by purchasing a 2011 Skoda Octavia vRS TDI in Candy White. The arrival of the above car saw me part-ex my SEAT Ibiza cupra (2004) which I'll miss greatly, but I now need a 5-door diesel and so the swap was inevitable. My first impressions of the Octavia are good - spacious, refined and still has that little bit of poke when needed I am known to "tinker" and so it probably won't be long before I make a few changes, but for those who know me I won't be going to some of the extremes that I have done in the past. Anyway - looking forward to many fault-free years of ownership! I'll pop up some photos as/when I've had a chance to properly clean the car, and if I do start to tinker then I may be asking a lot more questions on here Cheers! Paul

As it happens I've had a new quote from TWS of £360 which is much better. Seriously contemplating it but have only just got the car and not sure I should do it straight away! Lol.

I've been quoted £420 for OEM wheels to be refurbed to black by TWS in Fareham. Sounds a lot more than you guys were quoted on here? Altho my quote is for 5 alloys as have a full size spare too. Seems a bit high IMO?

Got a quote from TWS and they actually want £420 to refurb 5x OEM alloys which is a lot more than I had been told on here previously. Seems a bit expensive IMO.
