Little trip to my local motoring spot Motorist hub, weather was horrible so very quiet this afternoon

Also did some vcds tweeks, one to get large MPH on the mfd display and the second to enable led lights so hopefully won’t throw a bulb out warning for the front sidelights

Yes as I love the factory elegance ones and ideally like it looking 100% oem externally, these are still winter wheels. The previous owner has also supplied them with the car and they have been power coated silver just need some tyres when I get some space and time.

Already converted the boot to manual from its powered struts as they weren’t working, kindly supplied the kit to do so from previous owner. Might try and get it working again in the future but I’ll see how much it bothers me powered strut Manual with wiring grommet blanks

Yes I’m wierd but this has always been one of my dream cars, just purchased from a fellow Briskodian cheers Steve. Actually got quite emotional after the initial purchase as it was my dad who got me into Skodas in the first place and it was a car he always really wanted too but never actually got and he passed last year. So this will have massive sentimental value to me and I’m going to try my best keeping it tip top for years to come. I’ve had many many Skodas and countless builds on here, I still love coming on this site and even if no one reads this I still love having a record of what I’ve done to it with either maintaining her or some little mods. And that’s it haha nice to have a car that doesn’t really need anything straight away. Future plans are the get the bodywork mint, it’s been up and down the motorway pretty much it’s whole life so stone chipped all on front. planning to get front bumper and bonnet sprayed and a little spec of rust on front sill sorted in a few months then in for detailing/ceramic coating. Now back on standard plates and ready to go to a good home, really is a great car only selling as have brought something a little bigger

Seen another car I really fancy so this is up for grabs, has been 100% reliable over the last 3k miles. Does easy 50mpg anywhere and up to mid 60’s I’ve seen 08 plate Octavia vrs diesel black 143k unfortunately no service history but its definitely been remapped darkside Egr delete and dpf delete and induction kit, still have original airbox. it has rusty sills and back arches, still feels solid so just seems to be surface. Has a aftermarket oem looking headunit cruise control mot is June/July I’ll have to look I’ve changed all suspension as a front spring had snapped it has oem shocks all round fronts were less then a year old genuine ones and h&r springs all only used for a year so like new HPi clear although brought from copart with very minor rear bumper damage, (bumper replaced have pics of damage) and it says cat notice on v5 even though didn’t show on HPi weirdly. has my private plate on it just needs 4-5days for new log book when I have an interested party ive stuck two new tyres on the front decent Bridgestones at £100 each and it has two uniroyal rainsports on rear which are good 5mm + also has drilled grooved discs on that were on it before I got it but all not very worn pads are like new. Oh and had new front droplinks and rear top mounts. eveything works minus the rear wiper and it’s honestly the best cheap car I’ve had. Makes a great work runaround located york Brisky price £1700.

Just had it detailed and ceramic coated looks absolutely stunning, car is also going up for sale but trying to avoid Facebook so will only be advertised on here and Instagram, very reasonably priced for probably one of the best out there
