Been busy last couple of days The car had two little spots of rust which annoyed me so found a couple of mint replacements in same colour off a vrs too. Bootlid had some bubbling starting above and around number plate lights and one hole was drilled into bootlid at some point in its life meaning my 6 digit length plate wouldn’t fit without showing it, im also going to get the rear screen swapped over as there’s some white worm in edge of window, whereas my original rear screen was immaculate. just needs a good polish when I get it detailed shortly Rear passenger door had started to go on the bottom, so another mint door other then being dirty fitted to that, luckily tinted too aswell Then fitted some gloss black polo 9n door handles Also in process of tidying the meth install, all the various old holes have been rust treated, hammerited then siliconed over, then the ones I’m using were opened up a little and rivnuted, abit easier to fill the bottle here and also meant the Forge rear Brace I found for a bargain could fit. interiors and carpet is going back in, and going to get some countersunk Allen bolts to secure the bottle.

Bit more tidying, front grill for the wide mouth had a bit of damage so changed that today, tidied bits and pieces behind bumper and tidied the extra wires and pipes in engine bay, was all secured out the way after the pics got a new plate for it too

Brought some other wheels off the previous owner and they happen to be one of my faves pro race 3’s, also adjusted the front coilovers up a fraction so I no longer catch on my local speed bumps, doing a few other little jobs first then I’ll be out and about using her properly

I would presume so, I’ll see if the tape novelty wares off first

Sorted all the under dash wiring, all taped up and run nicely to boot with oem loom under sill, no wires showing, no holes anywhere Fitted the 202 music system with cassette player, hidden the water meth switch in ashtray. Also wired the green led for when the Meths working into the airbag deactivation indicator 😀 before

Oh wow nice, I’m contemplating adding a hidden micro amp so can run all four as they are all uprated too

Great haul from the scrappie today, glove box Stereo complete central trim Drivers panel with headlight surround gearshift surround also picked up a airbag deactivation switch that goes above stereo I’m hoping I can wire that in to be my water meth indicator, and I’m going to hide button for boost gauge out of site too black bonnet hinge bolts as I’ve removed the spacers. Found a Uber rare cassette player too from early Fabia for some retro goodness so hopefully inside Will look 100% oem got lots of wiring conduit and fabric tape too to hide all the wiring. Looking forward to a good bit of time on her tomorrow 😀

Current state of play , all dash panels out and going to get some more to get rid of all the holes, Nitrous has been removed along with all the redundant wiring, so I can now tidy up and place in conduit so it will be a lot neater and nothing on display. Now nos is out I’m going to place the water meth switch in the ashtray so everything will be hidden. Controller will still be in glovebox the only thing visible will be the led for the water meth as you need to see it to know it’s working

First things were to change the wheel, so fitted a mk2 Fabia Monte Carlo one in, also the Audi 6 speed gear knob was recycled from the citigo, and fitted some facelift Fabia black seats, as the drivers seat original was rocking about I think the height adjuster mechanism was broken. Detinted the front side windows as I like it all legal.
