Little trip to my local motoring spot Motorist hub, weather was horrible so very quiet this afternoon

Also did some vcds tweeks, one to get large MPH on the mfd display and the second to enable led lights so hopefully won’t throw a bulb out warning for the front sidelights

Yes as I love the factory elegance ones and ideally like it looking 100% oem externally, these are still winter wheels. The previous owner has also supplied them with the car and they have been power coated silver just need some tyres when I get some space and time.

Already converted the boot to manual from its powered struts as they weren’t working, kindly supplied the kit to do so from previous owner. Might try and get it working again in the future but I’ll see how much it bothers me powered strut Manual with wiring grommet blanks

Let’s get some specs 3.6 v6 260ps elegance spec Self Parallel parking sensors front and rear Heated electric memory seats Cruise Full black leather Kessy Plans for the minute are a service as a little overdue. And that’s it haha nice to have a car that doesn’t really need anything straight away. Future plans are the get the bodywork mint, it’s been up and down the motorway pretty much it’s whole life so stone chipped all on front. Some pics

New plates on as old ones had discoloured, id do a great deal if it goes this weekend

Just had it detailed and ceramic coated looks absolutely stunning, car is also going up for sale but trying to avoid Facebook so will only be advertised on here and Instagram, very reasonably priced for probably one of the best out there

Not much happening with the Fab, used if a few times for some random trips out. it’s in for detailing next week with a ceramic coating, so should be looking it’s best ever

If anyone follows me on Instagram the car is up for sale although not done a proper advert yet, just getting the finishing touches done and a full one will follow. just getting new tyres all round and changed front pads for some Brembos, going to be a great steal for someone up at 6.5k

Been playing with the dragy again and with better tyres I reckon sub 7 is doable 0-60. I have some old Contis on at the min that are just getting under 3mm so not the best. I have done many low 7’s, it’s a surprisingly quick little thing Temp.mp4

Been playing with the new gadget, a dragy gps timer. Done about 30 0-60 runs, best was sub 8 but slightly over the downhill allowanace of 1%, other best run was 8.05 secs slightly uphill, and just over 16secs 1/4 mile best. Remap on Monday to see how it improves Temp.mp4

Brought myself a dragy to do some testing before and after I get her remapped next week , book 0-60 is about 8.5, mine sure feels quicker then that with abit less weight then the gti and with the bolt ons so time will tell
