Firstly thanks for all the input, finally after 2 months I get to see a copy of the old log book apparently shredded after it was digitally actioned to DVLA but a scanned copy is kept on file at dealer. Vehicle was a dealer demo, owner was Skoda Auto 036365 hence nothing has ever been done regarding reporting or resolving all the “ glitches” So I am getting the FULL new car experience that all the other unfortunate owners got a year ago. Thanks again, topic closing answer found.

Mine was updated this week to supposedly “the latest issue that doesn’t cause other issues “ so this screen shot would seem to indicate that all these screen shots are meaningless or we are all being fobbed off

Update Ok picked up the car last night. managed to drive about half a mile before the poltergeist decided it had moved from passenger interior light to the driver’s interior lights, ok let’s call dealer, great no speaker connection to iPhone so I can’t hear anything at my end. Guessing I’m not getting a lay in tomorrow morning another visit to dealer. plus point 🥴SOS appears to be fixed

Hi, I also get a double pop sound from the area behind steering wheel/media centre followed by a “blink and miss it” message saying SOS activation generally 5/10 mins after setting off on a journey. Sound is similar to a pneumatic valve operating. Mine is booked in on Monday 10th for a 5 hour update that appears to have reset itself or didn’t get done, oops did I say that out loud

Thanks for all the input , but my main intention was trying to see if the previous owner is a member. I didn’t get to see the old V5 as it wasn’t available and the new one obviously just says the usual crap, 1 previous owner. Thanks again for response’s

That would certainly fit with what has been said by the dealer, it first appeared on a “group” website and was transferred to my local “group” for viewing/test drive advertised as 1050 miles but had 1200 at purchase. Lovely car and drives well but I think VAG bought up a job lot of MG Maestro talking computers 🤫

Cheers John, the recent change was me and unfortunately the dodgy computer issues that I am now reading about are starting to show themselves. Vehicle was supposed to be getting a 5 hr update carried out pre delivery but I’m not convinced it’s happened

Had a good read and not even an exclamation mark, oh well it's goin anyway so "bothered" not. :-) Radio worked superbly for 2 years so cant say DAB would have made the slightest difference to my experience.

OK, I can now confirm Skoda Octavia SE+ Connect 62 reg,Amundsen+ DOES NOT have DAB. Makes me wonder what other lies do skoda tell.

Thanks lads will have to have a closer look, all my channels are listed by name I will see if 4 extra is listed. never really given the DAB much thought just assumed "it makes a noise it's working"

Can't honestly remember the original yeti brochure as I did not bother with the radio/sat nav options on that one but I still have the Octavia brochure and the current yeti brochure and they both clearly state Amundsen as HAVING DAB, not optional HAVING. Not being a car audio expert I was under the impression that the shark fin was the DAB Arial from your comment I assume this is not the case. I also assume that the FM signal was simply that and,wasn't actually labelled DAB FM. For example capital FM is 95.8,what is the DAB frequency. Or to put it another way how the hell do you know if your receiving DAB anyway.

Has anybody got any thoughts on the Kenwood option over dealer fitted Amundsen+

LOOK IN THE SETUP MENU ,LOOK FOR "ALTERNATE FREQUENCY". Amundsen+ does have DAB, just might not be enabled. SE+ UK models are all advertised as having DAB

Go for the 16", having now converted to Octavia, I must totally agree with TP. The ride on 17's is probably the only downside I found in an otherwise enjoyable partnership.
