i was going to have the elegance dsg but it only came with climate control so i had an se/dsg and manual a.c then added a few bits probably keeping it till scrap

i am not sure that skoda knows the answer given that build dates are not guaranteed till you have the keys myself i begin to think iam a mushroom kept in the dark fed bullshine

monday 11 is the start of week 15 mine was going to be built week 21 but now its not 1.2se dsg ordered 15/01/11 arrives somtime next year

called slowda monday for a build update the young lady dealing with my complaint called back as promised with the words very sorry we ca nt get an answer on build date for you and many customers are waiting gonna find ceo of vw groups e mail and conntact him if i get a reply will let you know

on the dsg i drove it didnt my sporty road driving days dont happen now so quite pleased to put it in drive let the gearbox box do its thing least thats what i do with the scenic and prev autos and will do if ever the fabia is built!!!!! and delivered

my opinion is no badges at all i would like that option or a discount to allow them to advertise on my car

thanks for that and to get the ball rolling i ordered a fabia 1.2-dsg estate on jan 15 2011 still no confirmed date part exchange car out of tax mot 1st june Delivered on 17 .09.2011 wanted the new car to coincide with retirement/birthday too late now maybe next time with following extras metallic cappuchino maxi dot spare wheel smokers pack drivers pack(msfw ) front arm rest called them today 04.04.2011 still no build date calling back wednesday deep breath been told by dealer and skoda uk build week 33 be a 61 plate eventually built wk 34 delivered on 17;09;2011 with all extras fitted and an i pod cable without a need to ask

talked to skoda helpline today gone from week 21 to june if it goes to my 12comes as i ordered it i am just wondering would there more fitted as standard or will i be getting a bargin i am thinking the vat offer will be replaced by something close to it or a price drop

if the vat deal hadnt been on i would have had a proton gen 2 with free gas conversion/ full leather 3months back it was only vat and road tax on the fabia that stopped us

should have added 1june for mot /tax expiration

my problem with the wait is exchange car runs out of tax n mot(sons three way ) really wanted it for middle to end of april looks like be lucky if its middle of june was thinking of cancelling but not sure i want to wouldnt get another car built for us from many other manufactures any sooner now oh well back to the looooooooong wait hope mr skoda reads this forum if he does should be ashamed of the lack of interest in coming forward with apologies for lack of info, even a website to track your build would be helpfull at least you would see if you were on it sorry for the rant but i am getting fed up mushrooms and dark!!!!!!

if you go for an estate the wait is even longeer still no firm date after order on 15/01/11 for a dsg se estate with extras was told build week 21when i enqiured in february email from skoda today no confirmed build date did have a call from swift survey on my complaint to skoda but i think its loaded at the staff not the system did moan about no delivery date and wouldnt by another vw product if it wAs the same ordering system

mr hazelwooods e mail at the bottom in my opinion if more wrote to him expressing the lack of information sooner something would be done to make the wait easier even if it was only a live track of order through the system its like trying to get blood out of a stone and we are paying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only applicable if your buying from bickerton or rainworth skoda be nice if skoda set somthing up for all to track their cars build delivery time
