  1. Exhaust gas pressure switch changed on my vRS but under waranty...this part can fail... Failed recently on my friends vRS CR (MY2010)... Try to find it as spare on eBay. Problem with this pressure swith is, if it meassures wrong value due to failed state (too high or too low mbar), car 'would think that the regeneration time is come and run it, over and over again...or in other cases....it wil not...and DPF can be easy fullfilled....bad ... But try to go to local Skoda dealer garage and ask them to try 'forced- regeneration of DPF, as they for sure have proper tools and diagnostic for that. Prior that you go for change of DPF...
  2. 99% is battery...and 'click' sound is from releys under dash...that is normal. When low voltage level occours, protection is activated (of electronic). Eeeeee....be carefoul by using hill to start car...ok for petrol (more or less) engines...but dangerous for diesel ones...
  3. Or to the fact od reverse order if pins (only two you have) in jack of mic...not on HU side then on the mic side (where mic is fitted) Can easy check... Had that case once before...
  4. I was lucky to have in that moment VCDS and a laptop with me...so when I connect I see error message allready " Low level voltage exceded". Clear the errors, start engine Ok (that time) and after second stop om parking place same situation, but no more 'clear error messages' helped... Call friend to connect to his battery to start car and to get home. Bought next day a new Excide Premium think 77 Ah), fitted it fires lika a gun since... Everything under 10.5 volts is bad, very bad...
  5. If it is just 'click' that you can hear and maybe see on instrument cluster a flickering of lights...then it 99% is a battery. And if show you arround 10.3 Volts or less, then yes, it is bad. Had that situation...
  6. If injector fails, those 'problematic' ones (manufactured by Siemens), in 99% car wil immediately stop, engine off with message on maxi dot "Engine error". Even if you drove your car (like on Full speed at highway) it can easy with no pre-warning message/sign turn of. This happened to me, while driving, very near to my home, but still I need to use s towing setvice and activate mobile insurance to tow it to main dealer. There, they found put a one only injector as bad and even try to charge me for big sum for repair. But I have persist they should wrote a letter to Skoda CZ and ask for full cover of cost by them, abd the have accept that (after the nattle with me...). So xar back then repaired and then I got a 'Tip' from a friend about 'silent campaign' for the 'known problematic injectors' on a 2.0 TDI engines. So back again and they check that other three are 'Siemens ones' and order needed parts for me and boom me a date. No costs for me... Remaining injectors changed, and...all Ok. Except....as I discover later on, they put in car used rafurbished Continental injectors (in part number of them a letters TX at the end mark them)... (service guy show me physical and ecplain...) And...no warranty on them (or first injector also fitted), like, this is 'free' gift and if fails again...buy new ones... So...TX = --> REFURBISHED (Continental)
  7. Ouch...but this is way too much for my point of view (or pocket)...I paid a 160 EUR for OEM RVC and will fit it myself...
  8. Finally fit grill sorround color coded... Only new RS MK3 badges left to fit...

  10. To far "clear" for my point of view/taste.... On a vRS I have seen a Decrane smoke/black rear LED lamps fitted, on a RaxeBlue color...and this is perfect combination.... If you have a picture with theese "clear" lamps fitted...please upload...
  11. But...hey! At least paint is cheap so painting a bumper should not be huge expensive invoice... And will be fresh, like new...
  12. ...any pictures or info for...? Did not get you right...sorry...:(

  14. Bulbs in headlamps (W5W) are not functioning like a side light on vRS FL, LEDs in bumper are used as DRLs and side light (dimming). Standard OEM set up...
