looking good mate, personally not keen on those wheels for it, but besides that she's sitting braw -
i bought the cat back last month and it makes no difference sound wise. I've head the decat is the best option for sound when accelerating. but I'm worried about the MOT clauses entailed. would a sports cat sound as good? and no I'm not swapping a cat in when it comes to MOT time lol. in all honestly my mot would get done at my brother work so it could get overlooked. what would you choose and for people with them can you post me your reviews/ gracias.

I'm fairly low with shortened drop links but the top nut of the drop link catches the chassis and rubs on full lock? when i put on 17" wheels it knocked a lot

excellent going to change mine over tomorrow hopefully. i assume theres no issues with arb hitting driveshaft with longer ones?
-
just got 2 new oem droplinks from skoda. £45 ouch
-
Why are kw different from other coilovers that need shortened ones?
-
Is this Definetely the issue then?
-
Drop links aren't too expensive from skoda I don't think, might go get some
-
They don't? Would be good to find out

i believe on full lock my arb is rubbing off the chassis. im running mondeo shortened drop links with kw v1 coilovers anyone else suffer this? im running standard 16" wheels when i put on 17" instead on rub on full lock its knocked when turning. ive seen people talk about chassis notch but im not going down that road. there must be a solution. i cant deal with knocks which is 1 of the reason the 17" wheels came off so i only had an odd noise when on full lock. this is a bad quick illustration but might help my case green part is the chassis

im thinking of buying a load of sound deadening and going out all and caking the car in it, i hate noises and the car i think (especially having no music right now) makes alot of creaks and bumps. i thought buying kw v1 coilovers would have been a sensible option, but there not a smooth as i thought, but back on topic for the wind noise. i may take off the wind deflectors for 1 or 2 runs down the bypass and see if that eliminates that possibility if not it will be the seals i guess

do you think its necessacery to remove the silver internal panel aswell like you done or would under the door card be enough. might buy an 40 pack and do under the wheel arch liners to try reduce road noise even more -
