Got an e-mail today from my seller and he says that there are no boxes build from the subcontractor and therefore pushing my car of the future.
He also wrote that my car would be build week 36 or before..
it took them 7 months to tell me.. something they very well knew before I ordered it...
If week 36 then I have waited 46 weeks from order..
I have no more words about this "lying company skoda".. think all know what I mean..
There is just one thing I regret about my first (and last) skoda order..
- Wish I could know how this company treat customers before I ordered it..

I give a damn in what skoda sells in april.. they shuld build cars after when they get ordered!

Sorry? Don't you mean hook, line and sinker? Don't get how that's relevant anyway. All I've done is say what I've been told by the dealer. They did say that the vRS has been a bit delayed, as with everything else but I expected this and knew this when I ordered.
As long as it's after September 1st I'm not too bothered. It's something that's out of my hands so it's pointless worrying about it. Not sure how long people have been waiting for cars though. I did hear that Yeti's are at least 6 months and some Audi's are up to a year.

I am just frustrated at skoda! ordered mine fabia 1.2 tsi dsg combi 20.10.10.. no build date now.. :(

Dealer phoned me today just to update me on what was happening. Haven't spoken to them since I ordered 22nd April. She said she's expecting to build week to be about week 32 so second week in August then anouter 2 or 3 week for it to be delivered. This suits me since I want it for September 1st. Confirmed with them that the gloss black roof rails come standard on the estate and I cancelled my roof bars since my ones for the Mk1 can be adapted. I just need different feet from Thule.
and you took the sink, hook and bait.. and swallowed...sorry, but... guess she forgot to inform u that after week 32 she will call u again to inform u that the car is "delayed" 5 weeks..
and after that she wont call u for a cupple of months becouse then the car have walked the line to the black hole...
lucky if u get the car before september 2012 or september 2014..

dealer and skoda cust services called and said
wk 33 build deliverd for sept could have had a baby in that time
but i think i will wait for the car
oh and by the way ever seen two athritic near oaps
trying to get in a mx5
only got it cause son has swopped our scenic as we agreed
so he dil and grand daughter needed it but he couldnt wait
because of holidays
SORRY TO INFORM U BUT... after week 33 your car would be put into a black hole for several months..
Ordered oct 2010, fabia combi 1.2 tsi dsg.. build week 8, then 14.. and after that none build week.. guess it would be made next year.. skoda JUST GIVE THOSE "build-weeks" to make customer belive the car going to be build!
they would loose customers if they said it would be made after 100 weeks.. therefore they say 3-4 months.. just to make customer happy before they place the final order! even they know wery much its a big ****in lie..
this is my first and last skoda I order.. No answer from dealer and customer help in skoda when your car ends up in the black hole.. in other words.. THEY GIVE A ****..

My car is finally in the country - I pick it up next Saturday. Ordered on 2/12/10 so that will be 24 weeks from order to delivery. I did order extras that maybe caused the delay (see below). Still upset that you are not really kept in the loop by Skoda. They really will have to address our customer concerns by being more informative/considerate. (Car is Elegance estate CR 105PS - main extras - ESP+, Amundsen, Spare wheel, factory fit tow bar, Anthracite metallic, cornering fogs, headlight washers, MFSW, Elba alloys, MDI and storage boxes).

I ordered 20.10.2010, build week-8 - then 14.. now I dont have a build-week! and no answers from skoda..
Tomorrow I have waited exactly 30 weeks for the damn car to be build.. Anyone know what they are doing in that skoda factory? exept from smoking grass.. do they make any cars at all?

I really dont know if I shall laff or cry anymore.. its so ****in stupid that it shuld not be allowed..
After 2 e-mails from [email protected] that was exactly same and not personal (exactly same e-mails that is standard to send out to thousends of customers that ask for help).. I now wait for my 3`d e-mail from them with this standard ****.. damn.

Got an answer from skoda today after the mail I sent for one week ago.. its the SAME e-mail I got for one months ago! and this time I explaned that my dealer DONT have info about my car.. but it looks like they send standar e-mail to all..
Its ****in ridiculous that they can act like this! yes it says in the e-mail that standard delivery is approx 3-4 months.. but hell!! I have waited almost 7 months now!! and they just give a **** in it.
Some heads in that factory shuld ****in roll!!

I ordered mine fabia 1.2 tsi dsg in oct 2010 and since week 14 I have had none build-week.. AND I DONT HAVE ANY SATNAV ADDED...

I'm sure that would really help in getting things sorted. If your dealer isn't helping have you contacted Skoda customer services directly?
I wrote an e-mail to [email protected], but they told me that my dealer had all information... :(
thats not true becouse my dealer says skoda dont say WHY my car is delayed.. all my dealer "says" is there is NO build week at the moment.. and that he dont know when the car is going to be build.
I got build week 8, then 14.. and after that NOTTING.
SURE skoda knows why the hell my car is delayed.. they JUST DONT WANT TO SAY IT TO ME!
if it was an part I have added that they have problems with I would not added that part.. (sunroof, hook, mdi etc...)..
God damn, I am so angry that I could actually KILL someone at that factory right now...

What I think is total unexeptable from skoda is that they cannot say WHAT takes so long time???
Since other fabia 1.2 tsi dsg come out faster it must be something I have added on my car.. towbar, back sensor, mdi, bluetooth etc..
IF they could say for example that the bluetooth makes my car delayed 25 weeks from original build-week, I would NOT have the bluetooth..
SURE THEY KNOW WHAT TAKES SO ****IN LONG TIME!! BUT THEY GIVE A **** IN THE CUSTOMERS!
Btw.. Anyone who got an e-mail adress to skoda factory exept this one? [email protected]?
My skoda dealer is not offering me a hire car.. thats something they perhaps only do in UK..

You get compensation from Skoda if its over 25 weeks. You'd have to confirm this with Skoda UK.
Im not from UK.. car ordered in sweden and the salesman could not give compensation he said to me..
I was thinking of sue skoda in Czech Republic! they are the factory of this mess..

Order-date 20-10-10 build week 8, then 14 and after that none build week :( seams like skoda dont want to make my FABIA COMBI 1.2 TSI DSG
Or perhaps they think its funny that I am almost broke after I had to hire a car after my old one broke for over a month ago..
Woundering if an lawyer could help me to sue skoda for unnormal delivery time? some guys in that factory shuld ****in hang high!!

Hi - I feel that from the order on 20th Oct 2010 and still not having a build week is WRONG. It can't be just because you are in Norway - the factory is making cars for many countries. Have yuo been given a "SLI" number? In the UK, we can call Skoda UK with the SLI number and see it the build week agrees with what we are being told by the seller.
You may see that my car (order 21 Feb 2011) was week 20, went to week 38 but has come back to weeks 22. That's why I think there is something seriously wrong with your order!

No.. the SLI-number is only for uk customers I think.. the skoda-dealer I ordered the car from havent heard about any sli-number before.
All I got is Ordernr, Repr nr / PC-ordernr, Reg.nr (best.nr)/IFA.Nr.

I wonder if the delays in getting a build week are down to the Sat Nav option being added. I can't see any cars ordered March onwards with Sat Nav being assigned a build week whereas others without Sat Nav have a build week.
Maybe the recent long lead times have something to do with the new + unit?
Sat nav is NOT the reason..

Fabia Elegance Estate 1.2 TSI DSG in Rosso Brunello metallic, I also managed to get mudflaps,rubber mats (for winter use), bootliner and a spare wheel thrown in, you just got to keep at them. The reason I went for the DSG is because my partner has had an operation on one shoulder and needs one on the other this year (old injuries with working in care homes), so she was advised to use an automatic. Her pacemaker is doing fine, another checkup next week, hopeful all will be fine (she suffers from AF so will need an Ablation too :( ). Will post pics when in my possession.

No mate, I contact the stealer weekly and then, when I get complete gibberish from them, contact SUK who have given me a wide range of old tosh also but certainly not even a provisional build date.
After this week's installment of tosh I was so frustrated that I penned an e-mail to the fabled Mr Hazlewood, surprise surprise nothing heard in reply.
It does not seem like any way to run a business but what do I know!

looks like we get ****** long way up in the ass by skoda!! no way I will do business with them again after this ****ty affair tactic they use!!
25 weeks wait and suddently they say no build-date after they have forwarded my build-date earlier with 5 weeks..
no compensation also.. even it cost me a fortune to hire a car meantime. and if I drop out of the affair it cost me even more (about 15%) of total price they want..
F U CK skoda!!! go hang urself all in that ****ty factory!!
build date is only used to give ppl false hope! even they know wery well that build date is going to take at least the dobble.. or not tripple.. time!!

week 10 I called seller and he told me there was a new build week 14.
Now 24 weeks after ordering I think there is a new hold again.. since I dont get any answer from my seller..
Damn.. I am so close to cansel this order!! if they cannot follow up build-weeks and deliver cars when they say they are going to be build, but put them further into a black hole! becouse they priority other cars and more importent customers?
24 weeks waiting till now!! almost a half year!!

what the hell is going on? first build date 9, then 14.. and now notting?? Anyone have a clue whats going on and how many weeks I have to wait?
and what is the problem skoda have actually? is it dsg they cannot get enugh of? or 1.2 105TSI? or perhaps they dont have enugh wheels??

For a skoda it takes about a half year.. first they need to make some steel, rubber for the wheels.. and lots of plastics.. to make those parts thats needed..
And when they screw it together there is one man working and 10 watching..
Waiting 24 weeks for my fabia this day today....

I know but there isnt many that have got the cars build in that topic.. I want to check with those guys who really have got the cars build without reading hundreds of posts of guys waiting for build-week....
